The people living on Gov Benefits should be forced into actual work! Work for dole is a joke of a scheme and does not actually replicate work for a business or self employed work! If you don’t want to make them work then make National Service compulsory for all school leavers if they don’t have full time work or study! Immigration is becoming a massive problem for many countries around the world... Instead of "bringing in" the right people we should ALL be training or retraining the people who are already in the country. I'm here in the UK & immigration is THE big problem facing our country & could well be the issue that decides are next election results... Our Prime Minister is under pressure to "stop the boats" as the majority of immigrants here & still arriving are undocumented & therefore illegal.. we too have housing issues, homelessness, unemployment & an out of control over used benefits system... The rest of Europe is pretty much the same, yet despite some countries reinforcing their border's still the boat's, the undocumented illegals keep on coming, rven when legal immigrants are turned down for entry we are still faced with problems from civil rights & humanitarian group's for attempting to return them... It's complete chaos & the summer's calmer sea's will see it get worse... Current prediction's see between 7 -9 MILLION illegal immigrants (although the true figure will probably be nearer to 11 million) in this year alone, we just can't do this anymore... There has to be a global resolution to this issue & it has to be reached soon

I was under the impression that the indigenous (if that is the correct term) took education from their elders. Is Lydia Thorpe an elder? I just wonder who she is advocating for.
