Ooh, I love a good nosey at other people's groceries 😄. I feel you on the toblerone cake - it has "breakfast food" written all over it! I also made the switch to rice cakes with almond or peanut butter recently, and a word of warning you can OD on those as well 😂. I'd actually recommend corn cakes over rice, it's a similar calorie count but not quite as cardboardy, haha. Thanks for this fun video, have a great rest of the day! (I have no idea about the DIY, maybe an extension to hang stuff up inside your closet - or a summertime plant shelf..)

hI mr. C. It's a sad State of Affairs when the highlight of Our Lives is going to the grocery store. LOL Save the root area of your spring onions approximately 1/2 to 1 in repot in your garden. They grow like crazy and you'll have onion tops constantly. Another tip from your bossy American friend. My mother was a florist so I learned a lot from her in the day. If you trim off the bottom of your roses at a slant under running water, they will last much longer. Be sure you don't have any leaves in the water because that makes them go bad so much quicker. thank you for sharing as usual. Your friend in the USA

The carrots. Wash, section into 3 pcs. Drizzle olive oil, herbs, roast (under broiler). They are wonderful. Also onions, potatoes, turnip. Can be used in fifferent meals.

I got those polyester green bags from lidl too! LOVE them! not only because environmentally friendly but because when I get home I just empty them right into my fridge and it looks so much more neat and tidy without all the single use plastic 😍

Hi from a new subscriber. I started shopping at lidl 9 weeks ago at the start of the lockdown as there were no queues at my local lidl and the queue at asda was ridiculous. I really like shopping at lidl and I won't be going back to Asda for my weekly shop. I've had some lovely garden plants as well as food. I also got a great faux grass rug for under my carport. I dont have a Lidl near me. You done great for £37.28. I've just done a huge weekly Aldi Haul for a family of 4 in Aldi and only spent £81 and that was filled with meat, fruit and veg (and a few odd treats) I'm soooo curious what the DIY idea is 🤔 I cant even guess 🤣 Oh I'm going to call those easy access tins now, I love that! - A ring pull cans sounds so boring 🤣 No edit videos are great - shows the rawness of the vlogs and you have been so naturally funny in this (speaking of funny conversations yes I do like carrots 🤣). I love almond butter - it's a great way to add protein to some pancakes at breakfast! If the rice cakes don't work out, mash a couple of those bananas, melt some of that butter, add 6 tables of the almond butter, chuck in porridge oats/seeds/flour/raisins, see if you can find some golden syrup in the cupboard, mix, bake for 15 minutes and you've got yourself a decent sqwiggy flapjack.

For a snack you can take a sweet potato pumpkin pie spice nutmeg cinnamon put it in a oiled dish roll the sweet potatoes in the spices perfect snack

Firstly, I am LIDL's number one fan, cant go wrong with good quality and cheap food. Compared to other supermarkets, it has the best pastries and baked goodies. And the hummus, omg I try to not buy them in bulk.

The Toblerone cheesecake got me today too. I didn’t even put it in the freezer when I got home 😂. It’s tonight’s dessert because you know lock down life ✌🏻 They haven’t been putting much out in the bakery at our Lidl ( due to current circumstances) but I miss it so much 😥. Little tip with the reusable fruit/veg bags, take the tags off them as I keep getting charged for mine because they have a barcode on. I only just took mine off today and I’ve had them for ages

You mention you have a vitamin - you have to use it to make your own Hummus! I make a batch each week and it is so much nicer and way cheaper too. I use one can of chick peas and one can of white beans. It makes so much and you can split it up and add different flavorings.

Dude you are awesome!!! I love your videos especially you trips to the market. I was quite surprised at the price of the bananas. Here they are any where from 49 to 69 cent per pound. That ginger drink sounds like it needs a double shot of gin lol. Those hummus look delicious. That was a good sale on all those vegetables. I would have blown the shopping budget on them. Especially the potatoes, I go through about 20lbs a month. I do a lot of meals in the slow cooker and pressure cooker. You did well on the desserts. I think I would have been a piggy and bought 3 of the cheesecakes. You had some nice looking berries, I like to put them in oat meal for breakfast. I should stop now, I don't get to see anyone because of quarantine and social distancing so I tend to get a bit chatty. Reusable veg bags in Lidl are 2 for 49p bargain as are 30p each in Sainsbury's ,also Lidl instant light BBQ coals are brilliant as they always light first time. Will take a look at the pizza oven thing have been looking at them online and I can't justify the expense of an exclusive pizza oven.
