Love Lidl (Lee-dill) the bakery is amazing! I'm in NJ (SJ) your Lidl is bigger than ours. Make sure you bring your own bags or buy them there. They have some unique food items too. Enjoy!

@ The only thing about Lidl is the Deli. You can’t order your cold-cuts, like if I want low sodium ham or cheese. They don’t have. Also, you can’t contact the store. You have to contact Lidl Headquarters in Virginia (VA). That means if you forget something you have to contact VA & if it’s after their HQ closes, you have to contact them the next day or go back to the store before they close that day.

I popped in to get a flyer when I was going to the mall for fresh fish. I didn’t stay and shop since they don’t carry that. But I’ll be back. The 1st lidl I went to was in Harlem 2 years ago. I live in Astoria, Queens & shop @ Lidl all the time. They are originally from Germany. And yes, their prices are great! I buy the Lidl brand of ‘almond milk’ for way under $3.00. And, if you know anything about off/private label most likely the brands like Silk & Diamond are making it for them @ a cheaper price. I worked in a corporate office of food service & knew all the vendors, plus we did private label which my daughter worked in @ the time. I went shopping @ Lidl since they opened & I can’t even begin to tell you what you will save. And, they increased there prices a bit & you will still save. I bought a lot of the prepared foods that you pointed out in the beginning, brand Kevin & the other one right by it…delicious!😋 All the best w/success to your channel. I have subscribed.

I was in the store last week and liked it. You all are at the Bronx Terminal Market, which was first built in 1936. We let Gateway Corp change the name; they could not. We are cheaper than the concessions inside. They told me the store is from Germany. Will be back again. Thanks😘

So interesting to see what Lidl offers in other countries! Here in their homeland, they are in direct competition with the other well known German discounter Aldi, so most people here decide where to go depending on their special offers which change ever other week. Btw, even if they are operating in the US, they won't sell the toxic stuff that is forbidden in the EU but allowed in the US (certain food dyes etc), so the products - in general - are healthier.

I’m a New Yorker by heart and birth and moved to NC and there is one here. My first time going was this year. I feel it is better than Walmart and Aldi. The food is fresher and I feel price is better. Walmart is no longer cheap and a few times last month meat was rotten and even waffles was recalled and the cashier couldn’t sell it to me thank God.

@@tracyheyward2628 there is no metro north station near that area. There is only a New York City Train Station the 4 train and D and B trains are close enough. The metro north station is more near Fordham Road in the Bronx that’s the closest to this place but you will still have to take another bus, train, or car to get to Lidl

They're in construction to open a Lidl market near me the gateway mall in brooklyn taking place Bed Bed & Beyond went out of buisness it remind of Aldi's we have out here also

Aldi and lidl are both germany supermarket chain, when i lived there i usually shopped there alot. They are everywhere in germany, didnt know they are in the us now

Aldi, Lidl all the affordable shops from here in Europe are slowly making there way abroad. I see they've even opened a Primark in NY. Here in the UK they have them all. I did notice when I lived in the states that the prices are higher than here but still better than the big super chains in the states.

I live in Astoria, Queens & shop @ Lidl all the time. They are originally from Germany. And yes, there prices are great! I buy the Lidl brand of ‘almond milk’ for way under $3.00. And, if you know anything about off/private label most likely the brands like Silk & Diamond are making it for them @ a cheaper price. I worked in a corporate office of food service & knew all the vendors, plus we did private label which my daughter worked in @ the time. I went shopping @ Lidl since they opened & I can’t even begin to tell you what you will save. And, they increased there prices a bit & you will still save. I bought a lot of the prepared foods that you pointed out in the beginning, brand Kevin & the other one right by it…delicious!😋 All the best w/success to your channel. I have subscribed.
