Normally I am amazed with KEXP audio perfection, but this time there is something wierd with her mic. Someone else thinks this?

Yess, feel the same, a bit like inside from closed wooden barrel.

I think the problem is her vocal effe tor. It's hard to adjust balance of dry sound and effected sound because her mic went directly to the effector.
