Thank you I have been so afraid. When I got saved I really knew nothing about the Word , I never read the Bible , didn’t understand it. I barely went to church. I never matured in my faith I tried to go back to the Bible but after reading the verse about willfully sinning I almost gave up and was so scared, but I said no I will not give up . Q: 4 Andrew What then is wrong with my faith? I feel snagged or stuck in a dilemma. I do not have the kind of faith that the lady above I mentioned. Where does it come from? Where can I find it? Her faith does not fail even when she sinned in ways I never did an would be terrified to sin in those ways I have not. Where is this fountain of faith that comes from within? I mean I was told not to trust my emotions but emotions come from thinking and believing whatever thoughts are driving them are true. If you struggle with doubts the way I do how do I overcome them? Does faith come from within naturally or supernaturally or is a simply the practice of an emotionless dry drill to think according to sound soteriological & gospel doctrine in times of stress & danger and when circumstances threaten to kill us or destroy us? Is it an instinct? Is it supernatural? How does one stop doubting when doubting has become a habit? Many pastors tell that few who call themselves believers will enter heaven. This is TERRIFYING beyond any thing I can imagine. That so many will be surprised to find out that they do not qualify for Heaven who had trusted in Jesus Christ? Hence I want to believe I was saved and sealed and kept eternally when I first believed and all that without regard to works, good or evil. I have placed my trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and declared to God that no amount of good works can save or keep me and only the finished work of Jesus Christ and the vastness of His grace can accomplish that infinite inexhaustible task. I have declared both publicly and privately that works are not the issue but only my belief in Him. I get this. I fully understand this and know why. I accept this. OK? Yet at the same time I do not want to be fruitless. I want my life to count for something. OK? Yet when I go to do something or participate in something I believe is profitable to the world and the body of Christ I just get so terrified that I am really trusting my efforts instead of the God-Man's efforts to have provided the salvation grace required to save and keep me. While I do not want to be barren and fruitless and profitless in the life I live I also do not want to be found trusting in the works and that they have any necessity in the grace required to save and keep me. Thus when I stop any works program or giving I feel guilty that I am not progressing in any activity that advances me or the world around me that I might reap a blessing from in Christ participating in and supporting any such program. Yet when I do participate in any such program be it in a Church of in any para church or missionary program I then begin to feel and think like I am trusting those works for salvation itself even though I declare it not so. Can you PLEASE tell me just what the hell I lack that would keep me stable in both my faith and my work? Why the endless oscillation and increase in dynamic pressures that threatens to shipwreck my faith and bring me down to the depths of hell and despair? Sometimes I cant rest in the fact that Jesus Christ abundantly provides grace for both our sins and our good works too. HELP! I am caught in this dilemma that either I am saved and have been saved for a very long time and somehow cannot know it for certain therefore living an unstable life or I am not saved and somehow cannot get saved in spite of knowing how and am being kept out of the kingdom and snagged on something powerful even while I desperately want in and want to believe like the lady I mentioned above previously. I feel like one of the foolish virgins in Matthew 25:1-12? Am I?

What’s the difference? You have to be conscious to sin. There is no such thing as premeditation vs. the devil made me do it.. We choose what we do, whether it’s planned 5 days in advance or 5 seconds in advance. If you want to be judged by the law, make sure you keep it all and that your righteousness exceeds the Pharisees as Jesus said because you will be judged by it.

Brother your message sounds weighted down with sin and condemnation and even though that’s not good...the enemy can only condemn a child of God, someone who has been at some point purified by the gospel, given a pure heart...ppl in the world don’t experience those feelings...so you may have made mistakes in the past, even recently, but you have not been cut off from God’s mercy and grace, and the Spirit of God(since He is in you) has not left you. We all live how we want all of us, anyone who doesn't believe that hasn't seen all 613 commands of the mosaic Law and so some are self-rightous, and all of us wallow in sin this was the whole point of Jesus coming and dying the set us free because all of us are steeped in sin and those who don't believe this are self-rightous and do not see just how demanding and stringent the law is, it's not a sinful lifestyle that sends someone to hell, honestly the first sin you ever committed was enough to send you to hell for eternity and no amount of works, self-effort, reformation etc. Could clean your sin, it was Jesus spotless, blameless sacrifice that took away the Sins of the world and the one who places their Faith in Christ alone is Forgiven of all sin, past,present, future Sin and because of Christ we can rest because he offers eternal life, not temporary, not probationary, when you believe you are sealed unto the day of redemption as the Scriptures say, passed from death to life, you shall not come into condemnation, for their is no condemnation for those who are In Christ that means none because Jesus paid it all, and we are secure in our Salvation forever because our Salvation has nothing to do with us in the first place 💟✝️

Listen, sin separates us from God so it isn't a surprise you feel you lost the Spirit but guess what the fact you clicked on this video tells me that there's still hope. You want to know when there's no hope? When you're dead or when Christs come and you haven't turned back. Judas was lost forever because he died before repentance, he took his own life in guilt. Pray God softens your heart, pray he restores you and you said you had a period of time where you rested in the Spirit, well Philippians 1 6 says 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. So pray everyday God will finish the good work he started in you in myself in everyone who's started genuinely in him. I myself have been a backslider and felt there was nothing left for me than wait to be sent to hell on judgement day. I know what it feels like to struggle to cry for my sins. Read Deuteronomy 30. Sin separates us from God but I also believes it hardens our hearts. So Pray God breaks your hardened heart n if you still care, your heart hasn't been hardened beyond redemption. Pray d God will restore you everyday, follow his instructions for us and if you struggle w any addictions, peer pressures whatever ask God for guidance more specifically go to Jesus. You won't find hope anywhere else, trust me. And I pray that you'll find Jesus with his arms wide opening waiting for you to just jump back into them- take the leap ;). This is for myself too cos what you've said was my mindset very recently and as I grow in my understanding and faith I can hopefully say I'm coming out of that mindset. I pray Christ is with us both and we're both fully restored.

@@deepjoydeb4330 that Hebrews verse is talking about believers ( Jewish Christians) who were being persecuted by unbelieving Jews, and were considering going back to the temple & the law to ease persecution. The author of Hebrews is warning them that this is to tread down the Son of God, and if they return they will fall under the same judgment as them. The temple was about to be destroyed, it is talking about physical judgment not salvation.

Fortunately, we who believe are sealed permanently by the Holy Spirit. I thank God that our salvation depends on all three persons of the Trinity, and not on us, who still fail daily. I have yet to meet a born again Christian living in sinless perfection. We all will still sin, but if we have a new heart supplied by God, we will be miserable in it, as we are now dead to sin and alive to God. Again, obedience will automatically happen. and presenting ourselves as a holy, living sacrifice is our reasonable service to God, who will never leave nor forsake us.

The law was never abolished, the curse of the law was done away with when our messiah Yahusha died. You need to follow your 10 commandments but Christians see this as a burden as they are stuck in their ways and feel its a burden. However, its a blessing actually .
