Stanley Jordan is MEGA talented!!! & sounds INCREDIBLE with the DMB!!! ..."Stanley Jordan began his music career at age six, studying piano, then shifted his focus to guitar at age eleven. ...While earning a degree from Princeton in 1981 he played with Benny Carter and Dizzy Gillespie. ...Jordan also made the startup sound for the old Macintosh computers, Power Macintosh 6100, Power Macintosh 7100, and Power Macintosh 8100." Cool, huh? :)

Dear Goonies, I was a teen, playing in our small stage band at school. I would guess 1984-ish. A guy came in with a promo from Blue Note Productions. He was a GREAT trombone player, but that is another story. We all sat and watched jazz greats, and newly featured artists that were on the video tape he brought. Nothing could have prepared us (especially the rhythm section) when Stanley Jordan preformed at the end. Blown away! Never say die! David

This is really something else. I have adored this band since I was 13 years old (going on 30 now), and I continue to get goosebumps whenever those men walk out onto a stage and work their magic. Thank you for posting; this made me so excited for their show in St. Paul, MN in under 1 week!

Great job as always....as a new member of the DMB community all your work has made diving into their extensive catalog and history ten times easier. Because of people like you, this band will live on for future generations as one of the greatest of our time! Can't wait for Camden!

stanley jordan was doing the two handed tapping technique in the 80's before anyone ever did. that man invented that technique, furthermore, the guy plays bepop and complex jazz lines with it...he's an innovator on the guitar, not nearly as well known as he should be

what happened around 3:19? sounds ok, but dave looks like he forgot something, so they looped again... awesome. ALways been one of my favorites-- this is a fantastic mix -- great quality. You know this guy is fucking amazing when Timmay is just sitting back and smiling. Jordon is well known for that crazy ass finger picking at the top of the frets-- and it shows-- he fills that up-- so cool. This dude SHREDDED Warren Haynes...
