Thank you so much for this reaction. I've seen the thumbnails for his singing but had not heard any of his songs. This young man sings with such emotion & his voice reminds me of Bruddah IZ (RIP). My mother was half-hawaiian & I grew up listening to hawaiian music. I'm so proud of this young man for showing his talent & honoring his father. Thank you again for this. Music is medicine & I needed this.

You wondered why Iam hasn't received more recognition before now. IMO, the main reason is that his voice has been maturing. It's good, possibly great now. But it was far from that 2 years ago. And the upside is that his voice will almost certainly continue to grow richer and deeper for years to come.
