Wasn't it fun to get a bonus release from VoicePlay this month! Thanks for another reaction to VP! They guys said that Warframe contacted them very soon after their "Sleeping in the Cold Below" release about this opportunity and they kept it secret. The Warframe company sponsored VoicePlay for this one of the in-game songs. VP is "On-Lyne" the in-game 1990's boy band in this one. So fun and definitely an earworm! I'm not a gamer, but one of VoicePlay's many talents is making everything that they do appeal to their audience.

Just for fun, and because I’m strange, I went out and looked up OnLyne Warframe 1999. There is quite a backstory to this game. I found the Warframe fandom page that talks about why they look the way they do and the significance of the band in the game. (and they kind of explained the pizza thing and how they changed, but if you’re going to play the game that may be spoilers). They dressed pretty closely to the way the characters are portrayed and there’s a tagline under the picture of each of the characters. I think I got it correctly judging by what they were wearing, and the results are surprisingly pretty accurate. Layne is portraying Hard Drive, the jock of the group who is strong but sensitive (but J may not agree🥕). Geoff is portraying Zeke who is both selfless and stylish. Appropriately, the character that Cesar is portraying is Drillbit and is considered the heart of the group. Eli is Packet, the best tech whiz. Omar, as guest, got the plum assignment: DJ ROM the maestro and musical genius. (so appropriate since his band is called Epic Party Band!) I found it pretty funny considering their make up, especially Eli’s, that when I used voice to text and said war frame it came up saying Warf frame.

So happy for them! This is what they’ve been aiming for since Covid shut down their touring. They all killed this but holy cow I don’t think Layne is any more human than his character here. He went God level on this one.

Absolutely; Eli was having a blast (both physically and vocally) and Layne was totally wild with his percussion. They all brought so much energy and top-level performances. It's a good description to say it's Hollywood level work. I'll look forward to seeing more of your lovely reactions here next year.

I think it's getting a little underplayed in favor of Christmas songs ('tis the season after all) but it's an absolute banger. I hope more reactors and many, many more fans will find it as we close in on the "25 year anniversary" of that fateful On-Lyne concert (New Year's Eve 1999 if I got my in-game lore right) Teenage-me didn't swoon for _many_ 90's boybands, but VoicePlay honed in on everything I DID like about them.😄 Not sure about other kinds of infestation, but it's absolutely given me an earworm.

Definitely, Warframe was exactly what they were looking for in Sleeping in the Cold Below so when they started doing 1999 update they called VoicePlay and now that the game is nearly done, VoicePlay is running the Party of Your Lifetime. The pizza is so strange. The prosthetics are incredible. Have you reacted to Shero Returns - it's VoicePlay with Ashley Diane? PUBG Mobile sponsored that one so I'm delighted to have VoicePlay get the respect they deserve.
