Boy, its been to long since I got my dose of Mine Iron. Been watching some of your older stuff to get me through. lol Im impressed for the size of that machine how much room there is inside the house. Looks like a mechanics dream in there. Also surprised for a German Machine they were running a Cummins. Figured for sure it would be Deutz or M.A.N powered. Hope everything is still going in your neck of the woods. Stay safe man.

I know the engine house was nice and spacious! The older big Liebherrs opted for Cummins power before many switched to Liebherr engines. Thanks!

Thx for that review. It has a very long boom n' stick and a very strange bucket. What did they done there? In that configuration the 974 looks more like an aqua digger.

I’ve never ran a Liebherr before but I have heard mixed reviews about them…I would love to stack it up against a 245 cat or better yet a 375..I ran lots of 375 Cats and they were extremely good machines!!..

I'm a bricklayer and I find myself on all kinds of construction sites commercial residential doesn't matter either or every once in a while you come across properties that have junk on them but I will say this leihber komatsu caterpillar they are all very reliable tough strong going to get the job done you know you're going to be able to turn that key that things going to start it's going to do what it's supposed to do more than likely and if it's not it's because it's been so neglected and it's still wanted to start every day even though you kept neglected it you finally got to the point where just couldn't do it no more and it took years of you have beaten it and just abusing it for it to finally fail so you really have to abuse those machines and put them through the roughness to get them to fail you just take care of them and do what they're supposed to do they run and they will not stop running

Why would anyone order narrow track shoes? I guess it is cheaper, but do narrow track shoes afford any ability over wide shoes on hard ground? Over the life of the machine it just might work in softer ground.

Actually that machine was very easy unlike some designs I've seen. The engine compartment impressed me the most with the amount of space.
