YES GOD WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY But at times it's like the dad who loves his beautiful and cherished 23 year old daughter. She wants to marry a 69 year old millionaire with a yacht. She's in love with the idea. But to her displeasure and disappointment the dad says "That's not a good idea. I love you and I want your forever happiness, I am not interested in your right now happiness. If you marry him I will not be a part of the wedding and I won't be there to walk you down the isle." Happiness, let us understand this well, is truly our portion here as above; it cannot fail to fall within the lot of those who have chosen for their portion Him whose nature is one with Infinite, unalienable Joy. God wants me to be happy....no...God wants me to be Holy. God wants me to please Him and in doing so He KNOWS I will be happy and pleased if I want and desire righteousness. To the wicked, sin makes them happy and God does not want that for man. The world's definition of happiness and what is good is evil and perverted. They seek to be happy and pleasure-seeking as God says but they do not seek the truth. I have learned that when someone says that I "hurt their feelings" when I tell them the truth, they really mean that, "You hurt my flesh". The flesh will always hate and think the truth hurts it and it wants to be happy remaining in sin. That is the problem with these fake pastors that are not teaching the Gospel of Jesus and of repentance. They skim right over sin because they prefer to people please and to please others fleshy desires or in other words, they prefer to tickle their ears. God's ways are not like our ways so what man defines as happiness, God's definition is very much different to the point where it is like basically speaking two different languages: The carnal mind vs the spiritually renewed mind

Ahhh.. So God won't act unless you act and live life to a certain standard. Maybe God should love people for who they are and not hate those who don't follow rules to a T. 🤕🤕
