As someone who comes from a firefighter family, yes. Stop, drop and roll does help, but I don't know if you can easily do that in a narrow trailer. That's more of an ideal method if your body caught on fire (sounds like you'd just be running around like a headless chicken), but what really matters in a smoke-filled room is that you remain low to the ground because smoke rises up to higher altitudes. You can crawl on your hands and feet like you're Solid Snake sneaking around a top secret military facility, and that's effectively the same thing as stop, drop and roll to remain safe in a smoke-filled room.

Fun fact: The myth that carrots are good for your eyesight was started by the British Royal Air Force in WW2 so the Germans wouldn’t find out that they had radar. In the Netherlands. We don’t really celebrate Christmas like in other countries. Santa is never real here, instead. We have Sinterklaas, who Santa Claus is based on. Long story short, an old man with a beard and a staff comes with his boat from Spain and bring toys to every child. He goes across the rooftops with his horse and with his friends: de pieten, who are our versions of the elves. Who bring the toys down the chimney. They used to be black, due to the coles. But with changing times, and racist undertones. They eventually changed it to them having stripes of coal on their faces, instead of them being jet black. I never saw it as racist, due to them being portrayed as good people and Sinterklaas treating them as equals. And not like lesser slaves. And not really like blackface. But I do see the issues in hindsight and think it is a good replacement. To make us believe it, there is an a TV show on national television about him. It’s kind of like a sitcom for children. In the style of a news broadcast.
