Kindness is better than pretty. I learned this lesson the hard way. I also learned other lessons the hard way because I had to experience them rather than follow what I heard. Don't let life happen to you. Learn from my experiences so you can live your best life and take life by the balls. Here are some critical lessons I learned:
Kindness is better than pretty. I learned this lesson the hard way. I dated a girl one time because she was hot. Unfortunately, she was horrible, and I realized this month after dating her. I also learned that it doesn't matter how beautiful or spicy a woman is; if they are not a good person, you should not be with them.
If you act like a pu$$y, you're going to get fu@#ked. You won't accomplish anything if you don't stand up for yourself and grab life by the balls. Life will bend you over and give you the business. Life is not fair, and you'll get out of it what you put into it.
The world does not revolve around you. Fear of other people and what they think of us holds most of us back. But once you understand that everybody else is not thinking about you or concerned about your actions, you will be free to take life by the balls and squeeze. You'll be allowed to make decisions based on what you want.
How you react to adversity is more important than the act itself. A lot of times we are collateral damage in other people's lives. Bad things and challenges in our lives add context and meaning. How you handle issues and react to them sets people apart. Put down your baggage so life gets beautiful. Use Better Help to get your life on track and to be happy. Get 10% off your first month of therapy and get matched with a therapist who will listen and help.
Money does not buy happiness, but it makes life easier. If you constantly worry about money, taking money off the table improves life. You need to figure out a way not to be broke. Join me at the White Label Mpire for a supportive community, course info for starting your side hustle, coaching sessions, and more. Keep in mind that having money doesn't mean you'll always be happy, however. Don't chase external validation. Practice gratitude.
Your health is your most valuable asset. Without it, nothing else matters. Protect it. Don't smoke weed, don't drink excessively, and stop doing self-destructive things. Eat healthy foods, exercise, and invest in yourself.
Invest your time wisely. If you do, you'll get further ahead than your friends. Stop surfing social media and watching p***.
Not all friends are good for you. Outgrowing friends is essential. Surround yourself with people who are uplifting and moving in the right direction. These people need to cheer you on when you're successful as well. Make sure people are not holding you back from your dream. Don't kiss other people's asses, either.
Respect yourself. You need to respect your time, body, and mind. Exercise daily, get 8 hours of sleep, and drink 120 oz of water. How you live will dictate where you end up, and it's nobody else's responsibility.
Do better. If you're unhappy or think you're not where you need to be, put in the time and effort required to get there. Do the work. Remember that failure is a good thing. Embrace it as part of the process and understand that until you're truly pushing yourself and sometimes failing, you'll never know the next thing you should do. Failure is an opportunity to learn and pick yourself up. It'll make you stronger.

When you die, only the people immediately around you will miss you, and only for a time. Your co-workers, or acquaintances will forget about you a few weeks after you're buried. So yes, we're not special at all.

@henri6595
@henri6595 7 ай бұрын
@asta1011 I wouldn't say be greedy, but one should treat their family and close friends the best. Coworkers, people you meet in school, people you meet anywhere in general will all come and go like the wind. Social media is a scam and everyone in general doesn't truly have hundreds of friends. Many people do not deserve your attention, resources, and or kindness.

#2 really hits home for me. Being overweight and bullied in high school really left an imprint on me. My weight has kept me from enjoying life. Going out and doing things. Being a recluse and really that want to stay home and play my video games where I could be in a different world really hurt me in the real one. I lost a lot of years and opportunities because of this.

I destroyed my life because I lived in fear of what other people thought of me and what I thought they could take away from me. I made every mistake but at the bottom of every mistake was fear. Im old now and have finally figured it out but there are so many doors that are closed to me because of my age. My family wasn't able to accept me with boundaries and rejected me. That was the price of peace. Starting over at retirement age is not easy and there are limits one must accept. I will not have another family. The likelihood of having a soul mate is low but the tast of freedom is still sweet. My suggestion is to do what's right for you as soon as possible.

A delightful video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

Love your family, your wife or husband (if you have one), and your children. Your closest friends. Those are the people that will miss you the most. When you start losing the people that you love and there is only a couple of you left----it is a new normal and takes time to recover --- but you don't forget those who have gone before. You still think of them and hold them in your heart and in the back of your mind. Guard your soul.

Some good advice here BUT, dont make self care selfish. People take it too far. Balance is needed. You can be selfless & still take care of yourself. Also this modern thinking of feeling that failure is needed before success?! How about thinking & planning to not fail? Instead of pretty much failing on purpose just to say you learned from it & be all dramatic about it & create a failure to have a success story to tell. I would take success any day. My wife is obsessed with falling down before she succeeds even if its preventible. You can spend your whole life subconciously causing failures to dig yourself out of. Its madness in search of self gratification & "success" after failure, such bs.

Thanks for this video just been breaking up with and I need the therapy turns out I was with a covert narcissist. It’s not easy I didint know this could hit that hard it’s as if I was in a comma god forbid watching someone disrespect me, every disrespect, every lie, all the abuse is coming back to me I’ve been in no contact for over 45 days after 4 years she broke up with me as I am in a financial situation with my business she told me I had nothing to offer, told me I was ugly, that I was fat and she was disgusted. And more hurtful things a man can hear and I’m not sure if it can be said here.

Better help sucks big time! Couldn't ever find a therapist/counselor today could ACTUALLY help me with my mental state. It was all about doing work sheets and they almost never asked questions but would spend the whole hour going over the stupid assignment. Better help is a waste of money. The idea that doesn't matter what people think of you is said quite often. And it isn't entirely true. I'm sure people don't think of you that often. And the minutiae of your life doesn't matter like people think you're a nerd or neet. But character does matter. And how other people perceive your character can you make a big difference in your life. Having a good relationship and respect from your higher-ups can help you get ahead. Well not having these things can prevent you from doing so. In gossiping going around can affect the way other people think of you including the higher ups if they take it seriously. Other than that he was spot on.

Sometimes serious, chronic illnesses can be at the driver's seat and there are limits to what you can do about it.. So please stop saying that your destiny is ALWAYS in your own hands. No it's not. I've come to realize NOBODY cares about me and the few that care just a little, only care as far as I can do something for them. As soon as I'm dead, my assets will be split up and nobody will care or know I was here beyond, at most, a funny story over drinks by the few folks I impacted. And, that's okay. I'm okay with that. Thinking otherwise can create a lot of anxiety about "after." It doesn't matter.

I would be careful not to take some stranger's advice. Live your own life, sure take calculated risks but not be careless. Sure, stand up for yourself but don't go to the extreme, you need not be overly bold, certainly do what needs to be done but be careful to look after yourself. It you want to surround yourself with good people be a good person. If you want to meet a kind Man or Woman to date or marry be a kind Woman or Man. Talk therapy is helpful if you have something bothering you that you feel is blocking your progress. Sometimes, Talk therapy can help you process experiences and periods of your life. I don't disagree with anything said here. Except maybe the 5 minute ad for a therapist. Social media is a cancer on our society. Yes, we all want our opinions validated, but the number of likes and retweets is not a measure of how right you are. This need means something else is missing in your life. Strangers justifing your feelings is not going to make you feel better. Five good friends are waaaay better than 1000,000 social media followers. Keep your good friends close and discard the ones holding you back. We don't all have the best family lives. But they are your family. Do everything you can to maintain a relationship with them. They are the only family you will ever have. Therapy is sometimes necessary. Talking with friends or a professional is good. But accepting the things you can't change and taking control of the things you can is by far the best therapy. Be bigger than your problems. This is how you solve them.
