Golden states warriors bandwagon Destroyer So if one gets pregnant without being married is it right to disown the person? Because if it is, Yeshua should disown all of us because many of us have accepted the lie that Sunday is the new Sabbath when the 10 commandments clearly states remember the sabbath and keep it holy. That and many other violations to his law that we make daily and make excuses for making (such as the dietary law). You probably love pork, shrimp, lobster and many more unclean foods that Yahweh forbade us to eat. I wonder where these fathers are and how they are doing after fathering children with her? They are probably somewhere NOT being judged, because our society tends to put all of the burden on the woman for some reason. Go figure.

I feel like the sin wasn't having the child out of wedlock. the pregnancy was the evidence of the sin, which was fornication. I wonder how many others in that church are sinning but don't have any physical evidence of their sin and are therefore still sitting pretty (and accepted) in the pews? you made a mistake. I assume you've asked for forgiveness. it is done. you are no less worthy of love, acceptance, and all other good things than the rest of the folks going to that church. none of them are without sin. you know how I know? bc Jesus had to die for them also. let's pray that your mom's eyes are opened and her heart is changed.

Whatever that religion is, if it is this strongly against kids out of wedlock then I am ALL FOR IT. Far too many bastards being born in the black community and it has caused sooo many fucking issues for our people. We need to go back to where kids out of wedlock is seen as taboo and shameful instead of what its become which is the norm. A lot of black females too often co-sign bullshit behavior from other black females under some misguided sense of female solidarity. You are being enablers if you keep making excuses for them. If you are not married to a man why let him go raw? Unless you were forced, its you females who decide if sex goes down and under what conditions so its irresponsibly on your part if you get pregnant.

Repentance is between you and Jesus and that's it. Your relationship with the Lord is personal and you don't have to go to any specific church to obtain that relationship with Jesus. Prayer and studying the Word of God & the indwelling of the Holy Spirit can heal every broken place in your heart. I am so so sorry for what you're going through. That's why I love our Heavenly Father, NO sin can separate His love from us. He is our Father through it all. You need to have a relationship with God for yourself, not your mom. She doesn't give you salvation, nor can she get you into heaven. This is the time for you to work on your relationship with God. Get to know him for yourself and he will direct you. He will always be there for you. I've been through different storms in my life and part of it was to push me closer to him. Begin to pray for your mom. Ask for understanding, guidance, restoration, and to break chains in your life. For him to touch your mom's heart and mind. Most importantly, ask God for forgiveness of all your sins (calling the sins out) by repenting; it's a daily thing and crucial in our walk. Everyone has made mistakes, including your mom. I hope you get to a better place in your life emotionally. Your relationship with your mom can be restored, just have faith! ❤

Your story is a perfect example of the difference between religion & being a follower of Jesus. Religion does not save...Jesus did! Jesus taught forgiveness, love & acceptance above all things. You're Heavenly Father is who forgives you...those who choose not too, need to read their bibles again. Your religious mom...for as long as she chooses not to forgive you, will not be righteous before God until she extends the same forgiveness towards you that she will one day need. My mother abandoned me before I was two...and my daddy abandoned me several times throughout my life. I have forgiven them both...but in my case forgiveness does not mean reconciliation. Pursue a relationship with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit and all will be made well in god's time. Don't allow bitterness to develop in your heart towards your mom...ask God to mend the relationship. Blessings

My heart goes out to you - sincerely. My mom and dad are devout JWs and they have no dealings with me because of my being disfellowshipped (excommunicated). And let me say this: being purposely ignored by family...friends...people in general - is abuse. Remember that. It is not loving, it is not a 'protection' as JWs will try to convince you. Thats the equivalent of an abuser hurting you and trying to claim it is out of love?! Think about that! My parents have literally walked by me, look at me, but not say 1 word. They also live 15 mins away from me...and yet, I never hear from them. I have never believed that me being baptized at 14 (or as JWs try to sell it 'made a promise') should be the guiding light for my ADULT life. My parents allowed me to make a contract with a religion - as a child. I will not be emotionally blackmailed back into the religion either...I dont want to be a part of something I dont believe in, AND, that approved families cutting each other off - all in the name of 'love'. Please!!! You are dealing with exactly what the org wants you feel...guilt. Enough emotional guilt (blackmail) that you are at THIS point: heartbroken, sad, confused, and emotional beatdown. What loving God is ok with that?! If you choose to go back, that is your own free will and choice. Either way, do it because you WANT to. Not because of an emotional pull towards familial relationships. I have been a daddys girl all my life! To now have the man I idolized treat me as if I dont exist (andI look just like this man) takes a piece out of me. It changes my own view of my parents - as how can you raise a human being given to you by God, and because they do not agree with YOUR beliefs, because they sinned, and because 3 men in the congregation deemed their child as 'dead to the cong' - can just brush their hands off and walk away? I have had to work through a LOT of resentment towards my fam for their following mens instructions (nowhere in thr Bible is disowning your children ever mentioned - not thr Prodigal son and not King Davids examples thwy always use either). Please...love YOURSELF more. Love is not conditional. It doesnt have strings attached. I now have major issues with natural affection now because my parents have disowned me. Again, what loving God approves of that? Would want that??? Take the time to think about it all. If you can see a therapist - do so. You got out of an abusive relationship with your kids father, and sadly with your parents, are still actively being abused emotionally - as am I. ((hugs))

I paused it many times because it made my blood boil more and more as I watched it. I could only digest it small pieces. And yes, if her math is correct, she's older than her parents' marriage. Additionally, she said that her dad has kids by other women (plural), yet the mom is married to him in spite of that. So, she was willing to give a random man her hand in marriage who had done the same thing, but is unwilling to accept her OWN flesh and blood. It seems like mom is a self-righteous hypocrite. People who go from one extreme to the other are full of it. They go from being wild and free to being so heavenly bound that they're no earthly good. People of this ilk are usually obnoxious and judgmental. I've met a few in my day.

I feel you 100%. Religion can make people do crazy things. Life is so so short and I pray she doesn't regret this drastic choice she's made to take for granted precious time she has with her daughter (but I think she will). There are people out there that would do ANYTHING for one more moment with their loved one. You are such a strong woman, seriously. And your sweet baby is a blessing.

I just happened upon your video in my recommendations, and I feel your pain. I am a single mom and I don't have my parents and it's hard! My mother is deceased and I've given my father chance after chance to be my father and he's turned his back on me too many times. I went thru my pregnancy and birth alone to the point where I had to drive myself to the hospital and back home. Even my sister turned her back on me for reasons I still don't understand. Not having a support system heavily influenced my decision to be sterilized bc even if I meet somebody that I fall in love with, I'm so traumatized from my first pregnancy that I never want to be pregnant again. So I'm praying that Jesus will fix your situation, bc life is short and your mom will probably need you one day and she's gonna want your forgiveness. God bless you and your boys.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I couldn't even watch this video without crying. I literally can't imagine life without my mother. It truly makes you value what you have. I really pray that your mother opens her eyes and sees the pain that she's causing and you two can reconcile. Every woman needs her mother no matter how old we get. There's no religion I've ever heard of that tells you to disown your own child. Sending blessings and good vibes your way 💕 I admire your strength.

But I will say that due to the old traditions of certain religions; she probably believes she's doing what's best for you because it was how she was brought up or taught. They're generation is old school and proud. But if its bothering you like it would bother me, express your love towards her anyway. Just don't expect anything. All we can really do is pray about it. And only God shall be the one to judge. Take care

Being a christian is not by force. NO ONE forces you to be a Jesus follower. Being a specific race or gender is biological..you are born like that. No one is born a christian,muslim,buddhist etc. You can be born INTO it as in your whole family is christian. But you can grow up and be like " no this isn't for me.. Im not going to practice anything." So therefore you do PICK and CHOOSE to be a part of any religion. You can not pick and choose being a mother, like you said. But you can pick a choose a religion, just like you pick and choose a partner in life.. Yes being a Christian is about love and forgiveness. But you do pick and choose to be a christian

Dang I feel you so much on this video. I went through a similar situation with my mother because of religion. I was a preacher at my church when I woke up and started to realize that religion was not was healthy for me. Me and my mother grew apart because of that decision. Over time I believe your relationship with your religious mom could heal, time works on a lot of people's way of seeing things. Meanwhile your relationship with yourself is the most important thing. God wants you to love yourself and come to the knowledge of yourself. Be empowered and keep your head up, things get better.

My mother disowned me in my early 30s because I looked at the hard evidence and couldn't lie about believing in God anymore and so explained to her I'm an athiest.. My father left my mother after she attacked him for not believing anymore either, he then proceeded to steal $38,000 of my money from our business we had to run off and start a new life - leaving me unemployed and homeless. I hit the jackpot with my parents.... I never quite recovered from that and doubt I ever will.. im now 38 and Although I do have a good career again now and a home, I keep too myself and acossiate with very few people outside of work... Incidents like that really give you a jaded view of humans

I really needed this and it just happened to POP up on my home feed. Its like you took the words out of my mouth when you described how your mom is "supposed" to be and just chooses "Not to show you love" or what not. I have two small ones (both out of wedlock)...but my mom kicked me out on the street while pregnant and told me I couldn't come back unless I got an abortion.Our mother and daughter relationship was never the same since 2008, and she put me through hell and so much drama due to her secret crack cocaine addiction. I'm 28 as well, and I continue to search for mother figures in people sometimes to help out advise me on how to take care of certain issues, because it's hard dealing with things using your own mind sometimes when your tainted and it HURTS LIKE HELL when your mom is well and living, but not in your life. I've noticed that all that hurt shows up in different ways in my life until I can manage it and use my mind as a tool than to remind me of things in my past..... but even that takes strength. sometimes strength I don't have...I have so many similarities in your story ,so you are DEFINITELY NOT ALONE!!.. (abusive boyfriend, depression &anxiety, abandoned by my mother,being a single mom, religion confusion and trying to press through each day.) Just wanted to reach out to you to have someone a TOTAL STRANGER that you can talk to without judgement, because I need it too. Take care girly

A very kind and warm spirit emanates from you as you describe the hurt you are feeling. Your love for your mother appears to be unconditional and heartfelt. This might be a time in your life where truths are being revealed to you that are uncomfortable to handle. I read that if you picture a person doing each thing they have done that hurt you and said "I forgive you" after each vision, it can open you to new awareness of the spirits (people) around you. You are not responsible for the choices others make to be angry or distant. Those are their choices. I would suggest you find a sitter or daycare and not leave your child with your mom at this time. It's better for the child to be in a positively charged environment. I wish you the best.

A note from my mom: "Very touching. I also like so many of us had a child out of wed-lock. The only forgiveness you should seek is The Lord's. For a mother to claim to be relegious, she must not have read on the Bible " do not stand in judgment, lease yea be judged." Young woman hold your head up high and keep it moving. Love your mom from a distance. One day she will need . The church will let her down and you will be there. I know it hurts but it will be alright. God has not cast you aside for the mistake you made."

We all wish for that perfect beautiful close relationship with our mothers, your mother gave birth to you and raised you and it seems like she did a very good job. Do not expect of her, what she for whatever reason chooses not to or can't give you. Let the priority in your life be Jesus, first and your relationship with him and second the family and friends that show you on a daily basis that they love and care about you. Parents, siblings, children may choose to leave you, but Jesus will never leave or forsake you. I have a similar situation going on, but one thing i have learned is to not get caught up in making someone else happy. and that includes mom. its about making you and your babies happy and healthy mentally and physically. god has already forgiven you for the sin. thats all that matters. your child was not a mistake. your mother probably will never come to terms with it and thats okay. you have to accept that and move on with your life. its her that will be missing out and be regretful one day.

God didn't excommunicate her mom when she sinned, so why disown your own daughter....She didn't sin against her MOM.. That's what's wrong with arrogant SUPER SAINTS.. When the sin has an OBVIOUS RESULT or CONSEQUENCE that everyone can SEE, SUPER SAINTS act like you've sinned against THEM, and treat ppl like they're the plague. But when THEY'RE SINS ARE SEEN, they wanna use the SAME CLICHE', "Only God can judge me. He knows my heart".... What happened to the compassion when others make wrong decisions???.... Many Christian women will forgive and still stay married to lying, cheating, manipulative, abusive husbands, but will stop communicating with their child for making wrong decisions in THEIR life smh....Its pathetic and weird. Loving God doesn't require you to be stupid and heartless about the decisions ppl make, especially your own kids...

Hi Miss Sparkle. I'm not sure if you're mom is JW with the term you're using of excommunication because I'm used to hearing disfellowshipped. I had my son out of wedlock in my teens, but I wasn't baptized. I never felt it was right to not speak to your loved ones if they committed a serious sin until I got the full understanding. You should still get encouragement from others, attend meetings and get counsel if you truly believe you did something wrong (which I'm sure you already know). It's just that getting baptized is a commitment to Jehovah and when a serious sin is committed repeatedly, your actions show where your heart is on it. Not sure when you were baptized but that's common among those who do it early in life before they are able to truly understand and make the commitment. It's meant as a protection to not deal in certain activities of the world for you and your loved ones. The comments on KZbin are mostly going to be from a worldly prospective. Not many will remind you that Jehovah comes first. Yes, tomorrow is not promised but who will bring you back? Who said this world will end? Why disobey commandments for Satan's world? When people (including myself in the recent past) say "How could she? I'd never do that." It's because they are only seeing the now in Satan's world, not what's promised. Basically it's a time to pray, meditate and decide if you really believe and repent like you said or was the promise you made at baptism really true in your heart? Because your mom can't keep company with anyone that continues to commit sins such as in 1 Corinthians 5:11. Jehovah, our creator first then family. Anyway, not trying to be preachy. I pray that you get some encouragement and that you are praying to get answers from God and not allow KZbin to steer you down the wrong path. This is a time for reflection and have the conversation with Jah just as it was with a friend or your mom. He's listening. *Hugs* to you and the entire family.
@keelys.26897 жыл бұрын
Very elegantly put...I was raised as a JW, never got baptized but definitely working on my relationship with Jehovah. One thing I will NEVER do (more like my conscious won't allow me to do) is to give any negative connotation toward JWs...why because regardless of my standing, I know the truth. I feel a lot of times people have a perception of Jehovah Witnesses that is false in which to me is simply a lack of education of the belief. The best way to learn about anything is to educate yourself. I think also in every religion you have those who behave in a way that does not represent the religion properly which perpetuates even more negatively and stereotypes toward the organization as a whole which simply is not fair. Thank you for your post, I was getting really disheartened by some of the posts...I definitely think there is more to this young lady's story but hope that her relationship with her mom improves. I agree that her relationship with GOD must come first, then everything else will fall into place.

@ebonypainter92747 жыл бұрын
Lexy Lew I'm sorry but what is a "serious" sin? That doesn't make any sense and there is no description of serious sin and less serious sin in the Bible? From my understanding we all far short of the glory of God? Not one of us got it all together, none of us are "good". Our so called good works are described as filthy rags. Baptism is not a commitment but it was a physical gesture of a spiritual recreation. Death to the old man and new life to the new creature that you have become thru Christ and the freedom from sin that you now can attain . I can't say her mom is totally wrong and she is totally wrong . They both are for different reasons . But God said COME all those that are heavy burdened and he didn't leave nobody out.

sorry to hear about your mom, this happened to me several times by more than one one of my relatives, including my dad and my brother, for no serious reason. I guess sometimes people just grow apart, and it's heartbreaking and painful, but you just have to learn to leave without those people. The way I look at this, if I'm dead to them, they are dead to me. I know this seems harsh, but you just have to choose to take care of your self, don't give up on yourself. Just because someone rejected you, that doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you, its something wrong with them. Choose to live for yourself and for your children, that is what I've chosen.
