I lost my mother on 26th May at age 58 to Covid since then I'm in immense pain every breath feels so heavy without her. I'm in intense grief and feeling of guilt has surrounded me . I loved her very much but oftenly I had small big arguments with her .. I am not able to forgive myself for the times I was not good with her... I thought of doing so much for her to give her a better life but before that she has left me.. I can't imagine my life without her... 24hours I'm surrounded with thoughts of her , I cry at least 6-7 times a day remembering her... Memories of her at home and her last days in hospital gives me traumatic pain... I, my father and my mother we all three were hospitalised cuz of Covid and my wife was battling Covid at home... But after doing every possible thing I was not able to save her.. I don't know what differently I could have done that she would be still with me. I still can't believe & accept that she has left me. I don't know when I will be back in my present

I know that feeling, you could'nt have done anything more, trust me, just know her time was up, the next part of your life is going to be a witness to you gradually learning to live with that pain 24 hrs, you will not end and so will the world, it will move on and drag you along with it, you would have no choice, the pain and void will remain inside you till your funeral pyre and it will vanish along with your body and consciousness, If you are lucky you might meet her in the next world, If you are slightly less lucky you might meet her in your next life without either of you recognising each other, if you are super unlucky she would have merged with the supreme by now and stopped existing...sorry for your loss, take care.

Not all souls have a choice to choose they families. Only good self realised souls get this choice. Your karma decides what family you will have. Heaven and hell are just state of mind. Soul is always the same and you can always connect with them, even if they die or are reborn again into different body. But only soul to soul connection. Because energy is same. I think! we should realize the truth by our own. Then we would be able to know who is correct about the reality. Because two person may see the truth in their own way and both may be right. This is because one truth may have many faces. So we, simply, can not reject his idea just because his idea about ' life after death ' differs from that of shashtras. Despite all this, we should be open to others view, but at the same time we must judge his view in a rational way.

Swamiji has made a comment-en passant-that there is no hell or heaven. Most of the scriptures talk of hell and heaven. Hell for those who have lived in vice and heaven for those who have led virtuous life. I , however, also tend to endorse Swamiji's views. All those who have written religious books had no doubt good intentions. They sought to reward the good and deter the bad for the sake of peace and harmony in society. I consider that hell and heaven are here in itself on this earth. We pay for our Karmas and harvest the results thereof depending upon our Karmas-past and present. We are in hell if we are in misery and in heaven when we are blessed with happiness. We ourselves are responsible for our fate and create hell or heaven by our Karmas. Souls, like energy, ,however, are indestructible . They ,however, change form and begin a new journey after death.

pranaam Swamiji, I have some confusion on the following concept. "The individual soul merges with the Supreme consciousness and loses it's identity just as a drop of rain from ocen goes in the ocean, evaporates and goes back to the skies, but it would come down as a new drop of water/soul." If the above concept is true all the new drops of water/ soul will be similar and have the same qualities which will depend on the property of the ocean/ universal consciousness. But as we can see all individuals are different even if they are twins and born and brought up in the same environment by the same parents.

I think the causal body, carrying your karmashaya survives but it is almost transpersonal, it is rather part of mahat (cosmic buddhi) and not individual buddhi. The individuality merges temporarily;then i comes out again in a new incarnation

Even Osho said this once...that all consciousness gets mixed up and a new is made...buddhism also talks about contiminum a steady stream of consciousness....with no seperate entities....Advait means no seperation....thus I in my humble opinion feel that the idea of a seperate individual soul for everybody was just to support the concept of Karma...and to keep people moralistic...it may be that there is no individual karma....rather the karma of whole universe and society..hence we must be more responsible as our karma affects all...or to say we are all...there is no division...

According to scriptures in an ideal situation who attain the state of "Brahmgyan" or Atmgyaan leaves the world within 21 days because once the movie is over you cant sit in theatre for long. For him the movie of this illusionary world is still playing , so as for you and me. People like them go for sadhna and get "siddhis" in the path of brahmgyaan then they come back to the world to show the world that see What I have become, now worship me , respect me . Those who are vidwan dont give much importance to siddhis and keep going until they attain the "brahmgyaan" once they see the reality behind this visible world then there is no reason to stay here.

If your desire or desires (karma) are very strong, or if you lived a very peaceful, productive life helping others, or if you lived a life filled with negative emotions or positive, that is all KARMA. Your spirit carries the energy of (UNFINISHED BUSINESS---->>> INSIDE OF YOU) a desire that was not completely satisfied in life, or a soul that carries hatred or love continuously... whatever your spirit carries in emotional sense, doesn't go anywhere, but it stays with the spirit just like a piece of paper that wraps up a good or bad gift completely. I can leave my physical body, but in essence I am still here with all my earthly desires and states of mind. At the very beginning of this video Om Swami explains that when you die in the physicality, you keep with you all that was your entire believe system during you life. You keep the state of mind of the last moments before you die and all that you are within in that moment. While you are here on earth, you can change the way you feel, and your believe system if you like, but once you leave the body, all that you are all about in the core of your soul, will remain crystallized until you are reborn because is what you deeply feel. Coming back to earth to be reborn, will give you the chance to change whatever you like to change within. There will be obstacles in the way to whatever you want to acheive and a spiritual lesson, hiding behind every obstacle. The lessons, will only help you re direct your energy toward the good dharma of life. However, not everyone is ready to see and understand the lessons of life, many people in fact, continue to suffer and resist the good energy from entering their soul. God cannot change you, but only you can with God's help. Because you only are the master of your destiny. (This is what I know)

The shastrs say it very clearly that Jiva (aatma plus manas plus budhdhi plus chitta plus ahamkara ) With its sukshma sharira stays independently and may go to different lokas and finally takes birth or it may take birth immediately - all deepening upon his last thought at the time of death and his past karma. The jiva does NOT merge with super consciousness as Swamij is saying. This part of jiva merging with super consciousness is completely false as per shastras and also as verified by many yogis and rishs who are quite contemporary. Things do not happen or are so based on our beliefs. hope Swamiji won't mind my comments
