I would like to become a paramedic but don't know where to start

There are different routes into becoming a paramedic. I’m exploring it myself at the moment :) you can either do a degree in paramedic science which takes 3 years, or you can app to be an ambulance technician with your local ambulance service, and then you can train “on the job” to be a paramedic. @@Newbii2071 hi! If you’re in England (like me) there are 2 routes into being a paramedic. The first is to go to university and do a degree in paramedic science, and the second is to apply to be an ambulance technician with your local ambulance service. They can train you up to be a technician and then once you’ve qualified they can put you through your training at university to be a paramedic. Hope that helps ☺️
