Mrs. Midwest, I’ve been gathering up the courage to say something to you since I found your videos! I’m not much of a commenter, so this is taking a lot out of me! 😅 But, I wanted to let you know that you have been an answer to prayer. Ever since I got married almost a year ago, I have struggled with feelings of loneliness. Not just feelings loneliness of getting married young (I was 21 when I got married) and feeling like no one else my age relates to me, but also feelings that I was the only one who desired to spend as much time at home as possible. You have given me the confidence to pursue my true dream of being a stay at home mom/homemaker one day full time. I do have to work some until my sweet husband finishes the police academy (another connection we have), but I am looking forward to the day where I am doing what you do now! Thank you for sharing what you do, and thank you for expressing your faith in our Lord! ❤️ You have changed my life for the better!

September Morford I feel the exact same way! I got married at 22 and my husband is also a police officer! I work part-time but nothing brings me joy like being a homemaker, serving my husband and caring for our cats! Caitlin has inspired me more than words can say, and has given me the confidence I needed to believe that being a homemaker is okay! 💗 She has brought such a wonderful community together.

Just struck me - to all those people who call her "just a homemaker", not only is she a successful homemaker but she also is a successful KZbinr. She does have a profession.

But still calls herself a homemaker. Never did she ever mentioned that she's a working from home housewife (a.k.a doing youtube on the side).

@@Hello-vv5hp I'm just saying that if you make money on the side, by whatever means, you're not *just* a homemaker. If you want, you can call yourself a part time youtuber too cos it's also a job nowadays. But she wouldn't do it cos her gimmick is a full time homemaker. I'm not bashing her. I'm just telling you my observation. :)

I agree! I feel like most people don’t realize the time and effort that goes into thinking of content, making videos, editing them, and getting them posted. She still has hobbies and daily responsibilities, just like the rest of us. Way to go Caitlin.

So nice to see someone do pilates/yoga and not have to watch 15 minutes of someone doing handstands 😅 Don't get me wrong it's really impressive! However...not relatable lol Also if you're missing your coffee shop trips I highly reccomend getting an espresso maker! I bought a nice one for my husband for Christmas a couple years ago but there are so many cheaper options, you can buy nice ones made for the stove top. If you did buy one for the stove top you would need something separate for the steaming the milk. You could always just use a milk frother and heat your milk in the microwave or on the stove top. I do love the coffee shop environment but sometimes it's nice to just have a lattee at home...okay daily latte..oops

@@paigec5017 You do want to be careful when it comes to vinegar in an espresso maker, doing it a couple times will be okay but you don't want to do it more than that. The components inside the machine are a combination of metal and plastic, the metal parts will rust when overly exposed to vinegar! Which means the machine will not last nearly as long. For continued cleaning through out the years I would definitely invest in the cleaner made specifically for the espresso maker.
