Oh my gosh - it works! It works! This application is absolutely incredible! I bought the brush at Michael's when it was 50% off, then got another 20% off. I wish I would have been able to buy 10 of them because that brush is the real deal, but I bought the only one that they had. Also, the Duraline made my gel liner go on like glass - so smooth. I am 66 years old and have FINALLY been able to do a winged eyeliner that looked decent. Thank you so much! I pray you remain as real and lovely as you are now. Cheers!

Life changing totally. I am 47 and used to use brush and pot type liquid liner but recently can't get a professional liner look. It looked messy, thick, off balance. I saw your video and promptly ordered the inglot makeup thinner, and the brush you suggested. Dropped a drop in my favorite balm felt tip liner and used the brush instead of the felt tip wand. Omg I'm not even finished with my makeup yet, and I just had to hop on here and thank you. The inglot made the balm liner dry slower and made it thinner. And the brush is the perfect mix of thin and just a tad stiff, it's perfect and I have a professional looking eyeliner now! Yay! So stoked! Girls if you're wondering if this technique and tools work, they absolutely do. Just give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Thank you again, so much!

Thank you for being so honest first of all. I am a 55 year old woman but I remember 2 years ago we had an event and had a mua come to my house to do our makeup and I knew I had always had problems doing a wing line die to my mature kinda hooded lids, I shouldn't say hooded like that but just have issues with sagging because of age. I just LOVE a winged liner and wanted one for this look the girl must of tried it on me like 3-4 times and just couldn't. So if an mua couldn't do it imagine me. But I will definitely try your technique to see it it'll work for me. I also did what you told us what not to do "stretch the lid?" And lashes for some reason I always apply them I guess fine but by the end of the night they come apart especially the side closer to the nose. Any advise? I'm thinking I'm not pinching it too hard. I'm a new subscriber and looking forward to more videos.
@jaimefrenchofficial6 жыл бұрын
Hi Nolly! Yes! You should try the glue from House of Lashes or Esquido. They are a tad more expensive than drugstore lash glues but they do NOT come off. Also yes! Stretching the lid has never worked on myself or my clients so hopefully this technique works for you. Remember, keep your eye relaxed! 🤗🤗🤗

Oh. MAN. I have hooded eye-lids and the frustration is so real putting ANY eye make up on, period. This helped a LOT, and even just watching your other videos makes me feel better; just great knowing I can watch someone with the same eye-lid type as me and that hope is not lost, LOL.

I just found your channel and I was looking thru all your videos and came across this one. I have yet to get the hang of liner and lashes. I thought about skipping this video just because I have seen so many from so many other youtubers and none of them helped me. After listening to your advice and your tricks I am confident to give them both another try! I have never seen anyone really give me tips on what to do with my over flappy lid skin. I have just subscribed and cant wait to binge watch all your videos and see what other advice I can pick up! Thank you so much!

I'm ordering the brush and the duraline right freaking now. I have such a horrible problem doing a wing. 10 years ago it wasnt an issue lol. I'm 43 so gravity hasn't been my friend. Grrrr. Thanks for the tips.

you've become my favourite beauty guru, hands down! really loving how real the tips are, you can tell they're authentic and they come after a lot of experience - pls dont change!

I'm learning that a "hooded eye" is different from a "mature hooded eye". My hood rests upon and covers the outer corner of my lid. *cries* I don't think there's any hope for me anymore!
@brandyjo36196 жыл бұрын
There's never been any hope for me. I'm 30 but I've always had what you described. I have that overlap of skin at the outer corner that just gets in the way.

Same here. There is nothing when it comes to those pesky 'smiled with my eyes' lines.

Same here, and it's getting worse by the year. Every time YT recommends me a video on makeup techniques for hooded eyes I hold my breath and hope for the best...and end up disappointed. I'm learning that well-placed shadow and false eyelashes are our best friends!

Try to focus on the non mobile lid that covers your mobile lid. With a pencil liner, draw a triangle of eyeshadow in the outer corner of that area and blend it out. You can make a smaller triangle with a darker color, then blend that, etc. Once it's on, focus on the lower lashline, because that's what you can really darken with eyeshadow (or eyeliner). Make sure you do tightline.

Great vid! The other thing people need to remember is their brow arch. Yours is on point and where it needs to be. Most women have their brows arched incorrectly, which makes a huge difference on the face when they apply make up they don't look proportioned. Your eyes are beautifully on point 💚

Thank you for making a video without using 3727363 products I can't afford and taking the time to show us how you do it instead of just of just a montage of your face over and over with just the completed make up.

I've been a huge fan of Inglot Duraline forever, because I have very heavy hooded eyes too. It's a life saving combo... And I use the Tart gel liner brush because it's so tiny and works great for me.... love the video... Great info.

The random “I have really big eyes” that went nowhere. I think I know what you were gonna say but it’s funny that it got cut out

This was so incredibly helpful!! I just started making KZbin makeup videos and I always do my liner off camera because of my struggles with my hooded lids. I can’t wait to try this technique!
