Wow. The Dream Academy original is one of my all-time favourite tracks so the bar was set very high with this one, but you absolutely sailed over it. When everything except the vocal harmonies dropped away around the three minute mark I was nearly in tears. On a channel already chock full of fantastic cover versions, this is as close to a perfect cover as I think I've ever heard. Thank you for four minutes of sheer beauty.

Hey Tom... ooh, it's since been overwritten I'm afraid, but if memory serves it was actually nothing more than some doubling and a touch of chorus on the main vocal, and the harmony effect was set to a fifth above - I think Sophie's preset also had a step that would give her a fifth AND a third, for when I go back to the main vocal at the end. As far as guitar, it's again a touch of chorus, a bit of reverb, and a VERY short slapback delay for me, and a reverby, overdriven AC Crunch amp sim for Soph. I think that's all, although there's a lot of the room mics mixed in with the driect signal, so just tweak it until it sounds nice, and drop us a link if you end up uploading a cover of it! :) Just watched your cover of Jet from about 9 years ago... awesome work man! :)
