@andreaspatsalides19143 жыл бұрын
@Down to the sea 7 months after commenting this, I found out about the CCP and I am honestly terrified on how much power the government has over people. Shenzhen would have been the dream city if it wasn't for the authoritarian system they have
@andreaspatsalides19143 жыл бұрын
@Down to the sea The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is basically a dictatorship over China, controling every citizen. They have something called social score and it determines how government based utilities treat you (jobs, hospitals etc). The more you promote their ideology the more points you have, if you rebel against the system you are basically getting canceled irl

In May 1980, the Central Committee designated Shenzhen as an SEZ, which was promoted by then-paramount leader Deng Xiaoping and created to be an experimental ground for the practice of market capitalism within a community guided by the ideals of "socialism with Chinese characteristics".Shenzhen is 40 years old!

The car on the other side was using the designated lane for temporary use to make a left turn. This is a newly implemented measure to reduce the traffic at the cross. The driving in China in general is really crazy. There is a lot of road rage and illegal driving in Shenzhen, and it was far more worse a few years ago when I moved to Shenzhen.
@RafaGoesAround4 жыл бұрын
Yes is getting better with the time. Sometimes when I drive here I get a bit confused haha so I prefer just use public transportation. Is efficient, cheap and clean!

They allow cars from Hong Kong to enter and drive in Shenzhen, and these cars have the driver seat in the other side. Maybe this is why some cars almost enter in the opposite lane

It is possible to go from Shangai to Shenzen by high speed train?..how much is?
@huas53503 жыл бұрын
Of course, there are dozens of high-speed trains running between the two places all day. The average price is about $100, and first class seats are about $150
@rafalef423 жыл бұрын
@@huas5350 thanks..and there are high speed trains from Pekin to shenzhen?..how much is it?
@huas53503 жыл бұрын
@@rafalef42 At present, more than 120 major cities in China have opened high-speed railways. Between major cities such as Beijing and Shenzhen, there is one every half an hour every day. It's usually between $100 and $200 from Beijing to Shenzhen. It's a Chinese New Year holiday, a little higher than usual. Daily experience shows that the price of high-speed rail in any two cities in China is about $50-180. Of course, there are ordinary high-speed trains, which usually cost one-third or one-half of the price of high-speed trains.
