Hey Manan, as an Estonian, you are the type of foreigner I want to have in Estonia. Even though I'm an atheist, like most of Estonia I appreciate and respect you. Never forget that even though all the bullshit you may encounter, know that there are always Estonians who love and would fight for you, and your rights. In the end, we are all more alike then we are different.

Yes, Estonia is the one of the most atheistic country in Europe.

It is quite easy to pray. We have a mosque in Tallinn. When you are at work it gets a bit more complicated, but I have done everything from praying near my desk to praying while sitting and praying in the dressing room. Just don't make a big deal out of it. Keep the essence of prayer.

I think the PR card takes about 5 years but there is no special benefit with the PR card as compared to the TRP. CS Engineering has good scope.

It’s a very non religious country. Plus not many Muslims here.

we generally don't care for it, unless you make an issue out of it. You don't rub it under our nose, it's fine. I recommend to know at least Russian if you come here because then you've got less language barrier. I'm an Estonian who stumbled on this channel.

@@hannes0000 not everyone speaks English, maybe in Tallinn. But the older generation doesn't speak English, especially if you're trying to shop for food and clothes. It all depends on where you're shopping too, the town and who you have as the cashier/customer service. I know people who've studied either Russian or Germany over English.

If I remember correctly: general population knows English 56% (76% by another study) and Russian something just above 50% But keep in mind, there is also overlap: there are lot of English speakers among Russian speakers and vice-versa and second overlap by ethnic Russians who speak it as native and this already cuts about half off from rest of population by ethnic Russian speakers. Monolingual Russians and Estonians do are reality, as well as residents (very few) predominantly in Tallinn and Tartu, who do not speak neither (English). There are areas in Southern-Estonia where English and Russian compete with Latvian and German. Russian is definitely useful and even in "must have" status in certain areas, but in general I'd rather relay on English (or even Finnish, German, Swedish - especially at west-coast and islands). Then of course there is Russia near by, maybe you vant do pay visit there one day - certainly useful do know than. In normal times Estonia also receives plenty of visitors from Russia and by what I understand, Russian is much better known in all other Post-Soviet countries. So again, highly varied by region.

Depends on how close the girls are to their families. Sometimes parents are sceptical about foreigners their kids are hanging out with. If they are introducing you alongside other friends this is fine. if they are introducing just you? Well, then better start saving up for a wedding ring. But that's just me. :D

You made this series at first to yourself. To understand yourself. Why you are here, who you are (here) . You speak in this video a lot about your religion and how you feel more close to it. But you spoke just a little about religion of Estonians. Yes, we are more like forest people. And Sauna people. You know- thousands of years (before hospitals) Estonians were born in Sauna and after death, until the funerals, dead body was kept in Sauna. So, yes, Sauna is sacred place for us. And you are right- alcohol is also our god. But the evil one. And we (most of as) arent monotheistic. It is hard to understand for us how is possible to believe one God. How can this Very Old Book (Bible or Coran - dosnt matter) tell you what to eat or how to live NOW - thousands of years later. If you understand this then you can understand us a little bit more. But they all are good videos. Peace!
