I like how considerate you are about not filming random people.

I agree on the face-to-face interaction at work. I started a new job last November, and I can probably count on my hands how many remote days I’ve had since then. I am way more productive in the office, but obviously everyone is different.

With regards to working from home vs. working from the office - I think it really depends on the work culture you have in the country and/or company. If it's toxic, people will prefer to work from home to minimize the interactions. If it's healthy, people will gladly come to the office. I currently work in a place where everybody's demotivated, burnt out or simply incompetent and difficult to work with. My job is 90% cleaning the fires they start. Home office is the only factor that's keeping me here. If I had to go to the office, interact with these people in person, do overtime till sometimes late evenings in an uncomfortable open space, I would quit in a heartbeat two years ago. From home it's somehow manageable. By the way, I just came back from my first short trip to Finland. I will go back as soon as I can. No video or photo will ever do the justice to the beauty of this country. The air quality, the forests, the nature trails, the silence and calmness, the balance between easy access to nature while also having all conveniences of modern cities... It's so easy to unwind there. This country is a real treasure ☘

since you live in the Helsinki area, do you see people/friends/coworkers with a lot of facial hair? i'm from Pohjois-Karjala and nearly every man there had at least a big moustache, personally i have real big sideburns
