I do hope you managed to enjoy the rest of your summer (of course as much as you can under the circumstances)! Anyways, it was a bit of a shock to see you so upset. Tanya: I would like to see more of the city. The area around the river and the old city perhaps. The apartment buildings where the people live, How the regular people live. I realize there is a war going on , so some of these places cannot be shown due to bombings from the enemy, we don't want to show them the devastation they have caused ! I have heard there were more attacks on Kyiv, just a few days ago and many people died and were hurt. Hello from Los Angeles. I visited Kyiv in march 1986. Everything was drab under communism. Very few cars no people walking about. Now in videos, I see many people enjoying their lives and many many more cars on the streets. What a difference freedom has brought to Ukraine.
