Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights on life in Laos…I, myself, have never been back to visit there ever since my parents brought the whole family here to live in the United States…I’ve thought about visiting there and retiring there but not sure yet til I set foot there to experience it. I plan on visiting sometime next year soon

Who did you hear come from? I have been visiting Laos 4 times already. My last visited 2018, and I stayed in laos for six months. I traveled all over in laos from way south close to Cambodia border and way up to the north close to China border and finally from west to east, just carry one backpack got in the local bus by myself without no problem at all. Don't listen to someone until you get in there and prove by yourself, what is the fact.
