SERIAL TUNA STABBER ...that's there motive my friend.. the correction officers play phycological warfare w the inmates..most jails they control the TV,and when u try to give them paperwork for your lawyer or a sick call to the nurse it takes a week for them to even pass the paperwork along... one c.o. told me that their job was to keep the inmates guessing and know nothing at all times.. Well yeah. Basic security like housing and food will give you better living conditions. Buuuuut the caveat of having no freedom is a strong cost for this security. I like the nordic prison models the best. They focus on the rehibilitation aspect more than the punishment. Leads to better social results and costs less money for the country and local municipalities.

I've been in mental hospitals and met other girl who have been in juvie. They would talk about how awful it was compared to where we were... Edit: I see some people comparing this to school. I just wanna say, being in a mental hospital was scary enough. You're constantly switched around, you do everything according to them, you can't just see or even call your family when you want. Nothing is in your control. And if you freak out or get angry, it's instant booty dart (a.k.a. night-night needle, a.k.a euthanasia) Things you view as normal everyday things are suddenly dangerous. No pencils, pen, markers, forks (even plastic ones). You can't even have erasers. People watch you sleep, and if you try to hurt yourself once, they have to watch you shower and use the bathroom too. What I just described isn't even prison. I've heard girls talk about getting jumped, shanked, sexually assaulted and more. This is nothing like your 7 hours or boredom. Sure, being bullied sucks, but imagine not being able to get away from them.

ive been to a mental hospital under scuicide watch, i cant imagine it is much different. Its kind of worse in a way since everyone there is not mentally stable, whether its antisocial disorders, depression, anxiety, etc. The staff is extremely intolerant and rude, theres nothing to entertain yourself you sit in a room with 'group therapy' for 8 hours and only 30 minutes of that is free time for socializing. The staff was extremely racist towards whites, and gave the colored folk special treatment. They seperated girls and boys, its hard to sleep because they leave the door open with lights and the staff is so loud and annoying, you don't know if your roommate is a psychopath and wants to kill you in your sleep or not, but i somehow liked it better than being free: It was kind of an escape where i could not care about anything, for a a few weeks but then when you get out if you've made friends its almost hell because you had relationships that you cant keep. It sucked. It is honestly better than school, i wish i was joking. Kids are really mean, if you stat to yourself at school you still might get bullied, if you stay to yourself there you might not get bullied so
