I love that you found a way to bake professionally but without loosing the aspects of the profession/craft that make it so beautiful and heartwarming. I quit being a pastry chef last year after 10 years working in bakeries because there was so little change in the daily routine and products and it was only about speed and efficiency all the time. Even so...I miss the atmosphere of the bakery sometimes. I'm so happy for you that you found a way to live your passion and don't loose sight of what really matters in the process!

Also, weirdly, I would like to see what's involved in cleaning and resetting the bakery space after a long day of prep and baking. Maybe I'm the only one with that interest, however. Also, it would be interesting to see a bit more about the retail end of things, interactions with customers, pricing, etc. Maybe a bit more about the town you live in, as well. Thanks!

They're both very sweet and tart but in very different ways; alone they sing, but together they're a symphony. Try it out, I bet you'll like it.

Bread doesn’t even have that much calories and it’s not what makes you gain weight. It’s what you put on bread. Two small slices (let’s say toast sized) of whole-wheat bread are only around 120 calories, but those two slices of cheese you put on them are 80 each. Don’t demonize bread and carbs, yeah, pure sugar is bad for you and it’s easy to drink half a liter of coke in a minute and consume 200 calories like this, but complex carbs, especially whole wheat, are not the culprit here.

This is probably unimportant, but I love your content lol. Im 13 years old and have recently taken an interest in baking. I know how to make pizza and even tried to make my own sweet treats from pizza dough, like adding raspberry jam and making "pillows". I tried to make them in the shape of croissants aswell and it worked out pretty well, but obviously the texture wasnt that of an actual croissant. I tried to make croissants yesterday and Im pretty sure I took them out of the oven a bit too soon. They still tasted good though. Your content really inspires me to try and bake even more stuff! I wish you the best with your bakery, everything looks really tasty :)

Idk if you already did this but you should totally make a honeycomb bun! Maybe a croissant with the honeycomb inside and the dough has some honey and vanilla in it?plus when it’s done baking, put on a honey glaze or honey whipped cream with some honeycomb in it!

Starting the video eating the croissant under the "quality control" text was pretty brilliant.😁 Coming back to it later with a call back to the preview was absolutely brilliant! I love how the lavender wasn't so much purple but actually turned out to be a lavender color, which is perfect if you think about it. Whether they came from people suggestions or your own ideas, everything you're doing in there is so amazing, and done clearly with absolute love and joy of baking, it's just wonderful to know that people get to experience the fruits (especially in the case of the strawberries) of your labours. And the fact that you both bake everything and then deliver it and sell it as the face of your storefront is also amazing. You truly are an amazing person.🎉

Cranberry juice is good for colouring. It makes a red colour. I add a little to sweet and sour pork to richen the colour instead of food colouring.

There's so much work that you do and I can't believe how you keep track of everything it's amazing ❤ honestly you are a massive inspiration for me massively proud of you Kitty, the lavender dough looks like a light pinkish colour it's rather beautiful and the scones omg you had my stomach rumbling when you said what they are made of lol, make sure to take time for yourself as well and keep being awesome your amazing ❤ You really are one the best most interesting people I have ever found on here not only are you amazing at what you do but you genuinely are such a sweet and kind soul i have a ton of respect for you ❤ And might I add Raisins are usually quite dry and don't work all that well in baked so it's great you soak them in tea so that will bring out their natural sweetness and make them soft, I'm a big lover of Arabic food they use them in alot of their dish they soak them in syrup I think and always so good .
