Hey there! This video is a little different from my usual videos so if you enjoyed it and want to see more vlog/day in the life videos, let me know! Also do you prefer videos with or without my voice over recordings?

Welcome to Seattle and the PNW. Your sunny disposition and enthusiasm adds to the vitality of our city and community. Good luck as you explore. It is clear you have found a connection to this beautiful region. FYI if you haven’t been clued in: those large well endowed clams are pronounced “goo-ie ducks”.

I really thought I'd miss the small towns of New England when I moved to Seattle, but seeing videos like this, I know that won't happen! I haven't made it up to Bellingham yet, and someone was just telling me about Stehekin today, which I think is the most remote city in WA? I added that one to my list, you might want to check it out too! It was nice to see your face in this one! 😊
@Chris_jae2 жыл бұрын
Ooo Ill have to check it out! It's definitely on the list now. Also thank you! Ill keep going on camera :)

Oh, I so was loving this video until I saw the "taco truck". No....... LOL I honestly was in shock - utter shock I tell you when I found out earlier this year. That Red Bus was always the BEST fish & chips that I've had in my life. My sister's home is not too far down on Chuckanut. Great memories, but OUCH on the taco truck ;)
@Chris_jae2 жыл бұрын
oh nooo!!! haha I probably just assumed cause I saw people eating tacos there and when i asked about it someone said tacos. Regardless, gotta try to fish and chips now!

Hey Chris! Thinking about moving to Washington (Bellingham or Bellevue) and absolutely loved this video! More would be appreciated 🙌🏻
@Chris_jae2 жыл бұрын
Glad it helped! Both those areas are really nice! I like Bellevue because it's close to everything, but I also like Bellingham because it is much more peaceful and closer to nature :)

I only knew Bellingham as the place to get as at before the Canadian border, nice to know there's other stuff to do there. P.S. if you ever make it as far as Vancouver and north of there, there are some really awesome and life changing viewpoints, would highly recommend!

Hahaha yes! I’ve only been to Vancouver once and it was amazing! Definitely need to go again

1:33 what are you thinking? You drove north and didn't get any pics of the tulips. WA native fail. Skydivers over the tulip fields is iconic north WA. Even if you went off of season you could have downloaded public domain pics. Another video subject is Whidbey Island. I lived there for five years. The movie Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock was filmed in Coupeville. Its funny because the boyfriend in the movie was hit by a runaway semitruck. If you visit you will see that even small cars have difficulty maneuvering in Coupeville let alone being out of control. If you visit check out all of front street even the residential parts. The historic homes built from boat parts are amazing.

Haha I actually did visit the Tuilips on a separeate trip! Left that part out cause I forgot to film. But I love Whidbey island. It's such a cool place to explore. Also I'll need to watch tthat movie. It sounds cool

Did you take Chuckanut Drive at all? It's a great little scenic by-pass. I loved the format of this video. Keep that cute face of yours in front of the camera! I'm not an oyster fan but that place looks great!

I am thinking of relocating to Seattle! I land at 28 November and want to check if my memories of Seattle is nostalgia. I remember its a very nice town and nature is great. Where would you reccomend to live if I want a bit more quiet and safe area? I read about Mercer Island and Redmond.
