Amusing to see Latitude Living worry about retiring with 1 million euros. With a moderate return rate, he should get at least 5%. That's 50,000 euros per year to live on. You should be increasing your investments instead of decreasing.

Les ref state pension,the government website says phone the international number then you have to download a pdf file fill it in and you have to post it inc your birth certificate and any divorce date you might have.are they saying you have to do it by post to be awkward?,if you are in the 7k you can do it by phone or online

That is more than I learned, they do not make it easy but I did provide the number to call to get the ball rolling. Having a conversation with the guy non of this was mentioned, why the need to provide your Birth certificate. Thanks for the reply.
