Hi Sammi, I’m team bacon all the way. I don’t eat eggs but when I was little I had too an always put ketchup on them. I guess to cover the flavor. So my knee is messed up too from multiple falls on it. After my trip I need to go see about it. So I’ll say a prayer for you if you do for me too. An don’t worry about the MRI as you’ll be okay. Growing up my mama always served some form of apples with pork. My favorite was her baked apples. I made a polish sausage potatoe cabbage and apples fry when my kiddos were little. They always hovered it.and of course ketchup belongs on eggs

I love that you share where you are. I'm on eastern shore Maryland. Each area of country is known for something. We learn and get to know each other area. We're in same time zone and not far from Md. So I like fried eggs and Canadian bacon for breakfast. Started to use my crockpot again, rather cook at home than spend at restaurants. You're right eggs have become expensive. Here at Aldi's is $3.77 and other store higher. Your meals sound good.

It is always a pleasure to spend the day with you and your handsome boys. Favorite breakfast is biscuits with homemade sausage gravy. I love bacon, but can't eat too much of it. We'll be praying that knee gets better and you won't need surgery. I had to have the MRI on my head last month and it was so hard not to panic during it. I get my results from it on October 4th.

I’m also a retired RN…don’t sweat the MRI…your head will be outside while the imaging is done on your lower extremities. I had one done recently on my neck, so I was head first. I used to eat ketchup on my scrambled eggs all the time . That’s how I grew up. My ex mother in law embarrassed me in a restaurant yelling at me that it was disgusting. So I quit eating them that way. I do eat them that way occasionally at home but never when I’m out. Dinner looked delicious as always. I hope your mri went well. I’ll keep you in my prayers as I know how knee problems are. My husband has had to have both of his replaced. He says it’s the best thing he ever did. And my knees aren’t what they used to be. But at 63 I can’t complain too much. It could definitely be worse. My favorite breakfast is fried potatoes or hash browns with over easy eggs on top. Some cheese on top of the taters then the eggs. Bacon if we have it . Sausage is a 2nd place choice. Have a great weekend!

Nice haul. My favorite breakfast is fried eggs, bacon, hash browns & biscuits with gravy & my coffee. Naps with dogs are sometimes required. I love that it's finally getting colder soon (I'm a winter loving gal). What a lovely final garden harvest!! I have yet to try those two ingredient biscuits but now I want to 😂. Praying for good news about your knee MRI. That supper looked absolutely phenomenal... I bet there were some happy tummies in your house.

I can remember my grandma melting butter in the biscuit pan and coating them all over, pushing them to the side, until the pan was filled, because my grandpa had to have fresh biscuits every morning. Even when they traveled in the motor home, my grandma did the same thing w/Pilsbury type biscuits.

I’m a big bacon 🥓 lover. I have tried the 2 ingredient biscuits but I guess I’m old school and love my buttermilk/ white Lilly self rising flour biscuits. I’ve been making them for 50 plus years just like my Granny taught me. I keep a big 5lb bowl of flour and put my butter/ crisco and buttermilk in the middle of the bowl and start mixing them by hand and put them in a heated iron skillet and bake on 475 for 10-12 minutes and cover them with melted butter and there delicious. I make mine the same way Brenda Gantt makes hers. Your supper looks delicious. I buy those pork loin too. use half for pork chops and put the other half in my insta pot and shred it up and make pork barbecue sandwiches using Kinders Bourbon Peach sauce. ❤
