Girl your messing with my fat intake, but I think I will try this. Especially since I’m diabetic and over weight lol. FYI: you can soak the chicken in a vinegar water for 20 minutes and then rinse it and Pat dry. It WILL NOT be any more tart than with the limes. Saves money. I use my limes for juice and salsas. Also, I use a oil spritz bottle. You can evenly coat it better. I have made chicken like this before lol. I thought it was different, but your right about it tasting as good as deep fried. Have a blessed day

Chile! I recently saw this thread where women were going back and forth about whether chicken even needed to be rinsed! Many seemed to feel you should just take it out the pack and go straight to seasoning and cooking it. They say that the heat takes all the harmful bacteria out. 😱 Oh no, no. It is first getting thoroughly washed in lime, lemon and salt and rinsed thoroughly!

I don't think meat needs to be rinsed (I'm in the UK so maybe practices are different here), but if you do do it, you must wash the sink and your hands after or you are just spreading bacteria around. The lime/ vinegar etc will kill some bacteria, I'm just not sure it's the same as proven modern food hygiene practices. I do think this youtuber is very hygienic in general though, and don't want to detract from that. Her recipes are great too 😊😊😊

@mettamorph4523 not at all. you drizzle a little oil into your bowl of panko then stir it together. All the panko gets lightly oiled. Then you just coat your chicken as normal. It is a more even crisp, and less mess and no wasted oil by drizzling it on the chicken when it is already breaded and trying to smear it around.
