So it's the investment part of the policy that is used to secure the mortgage or the entire life insurance policy?

The entire policy covering the cost of the property you are purcahsing for eg, if you life insurance is 15million and your house cost 14million they will hold on to the 14million. They will also hold/keep your policy for the duration of you paying the mortgage and give it back when you have paid the mortgage off in full. Thanks for watching.

​@justshericka9334, how your mortgage is calculated is also based on how much you earn? Eg if my life insurance values 15m and sagicor lending me 14m based on the insurance. Once my salary can cover the mortgage they will lend right. I'm trying to understand
