Being good is a rejection of the desire to be selfish(why should I hold the door if they don't hold the door for me). If you pursue that selfishness then you yourself become the ass that originally pissed you to begin with. That's why manners don't really work all that much, cuz all it is forcing the person to "be nice" to everyone, which inevitably falls apart once one too many people are rude to them. The solution? Be genuinely kind and don't expect shit in return, either it doesn't work and they're rude in which case who cares, you didn't expect to be thanked for it and you did the right thing i.e. what actually matters, or it does work, you inspire someone else to be nice and you can feel good about yourself for doing the right thing. It's a win win situation, you just have to not expect something in return and legitimately be kind which is difficult but very much so rewarding. Anyways, have a good one.

Trauma inhibits the work of the hippocampus, which is responsible for placing a "date and time" on memories. This is why people "suffer constantly". This is why for some it never gets better (not that it can't it's just expensive to get therapy and find the right psychologist and therapy for the right individual). ...So in short, you have never suffered enough trauma to understand. I didn't truly understand Silent Hill, especially 2....until I got older. I've felt alone for a long time, even among people, and I've often let myself be swallowed by the darkness. This is one of those times, and I'm glad I found this track while I was hurting. I hope happiness finds you.

There is this... strange, yet incredibly beautiful connection i have with silent hill 3 & 4.... the loneliness, the isolation, the soltitude, being in a safe place and enjoying the calm music... and the fact that they are greatly nostalgic because they came out in the early 2000s.... oh God how badly do i miss my childhood... 😓❤

I hit a deer while listening to this song I remember driving back and leaving from my sisters to go to work while listening to this and I hit a deer, It kind of came out of nowhere and totalled my front end of my jeep, left me frazzled a bit and now my jeep will never look the way It did when I bought it, I immedietly was depressed for about a week or 2, before that I was kind of happy in a way life was going alright and this kind of brought me down a bit. Its sad that it happened but life has a funny way of having change come out of nowhere.
