When this came out my rinky dinky town had no theaters playing it because it was a "furren film". So my husband and I drove an hour to a city to find a theater showing it. The best way to see this masterpiece is on the big screen in a theater. I felt so blessed that we were able to when so many others did not.

I was 17 when this movie came out. I had read about it months before in the local newspapers story on the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and made a mental note to go see it. I ended up watching it 4 times by myself alone in theaters. Again, i was just 17 and I would not stop talking about this beautiful little Italian movie no one else I knew had heard of except for the two girls from my HS who also worked at the one little artsy theater in town that was showing it. This whole soundtrack is a chefs kiss of perfection 🤌

Life is Beautiful, dude. I remember watching this as a kid and man the damn water works! It’s about humanity and the character Guido who is a real chad in life and takes everything life throws at him even though it’s horrible and he makes the best of it 😢
