The star he is referring to could be the super massive black hole at the centre of our galaxy ( Milky Way). If you pay attention he says it could be a star or some entity. I think this really makes sense as laws of physics may work differently at a time when we are at the closest point to a super massive black hole.. isn't it..! Worth giving this a thought! There are obvious gaps in data here but this wisdom being discussed here is thousands of years ancient. And this itself is mind-boggling to believe that something like this could be perceived at that time. Surely, this wisdom could so many useful inferences to questions that science has not been able to answer until now. But, that is only when there can be some comprehensive scientific study that can be carried out on this.

Dear friends, there are many quotes in the sacred Sanskrit literature of South Asia which explain that 365 human years is equal to 1 divine year. ie. Mahabharata 12.224.191: "A human year is a day and night of the gods". ie. Taittiriya Samhita 3.6.22: "A human year is the equivalent of a day of the gods". The length of Kali Yuga is clearly stated to be 1200 divine years (not human years.) The length of Dvapara Yuga is 2400 divine years, etc. Therefore to get the dates of the yugas in human years we must multiple by 360 as per the old system. There are also many indirect statements such as the one found in the Bhavishya Purana wherein Krishna reassures Ganga devi that after 5000 yrs of Kali Yuga there will be a temporary reprieve for 10000 years before Kali yuga really sets in. These kinds of statements are quite frankly everywhere throughout the literature and contradict the idea of the yugas being of such small time frames. Rather Kali Yuga = 432,000 yrs, Dvapara Yuga = 832,000 yrs, Treta Yuga = 1,296,000 yrs, and Satya Yuga = 1,728,000 yrs. This conclusion is further supported by great historical figures such as Aryabhata the 5th century astronomer and mathematician who famously said "60 x 60 years (3,600yrs) of Kali Yuga elapsed on his 23rd birthday (which fell in 499AD). Or another example is the harmony with the precession of the equinox. The precessional cycle is 25,920 years divided into 12 precessional months or Platonic months of 2160 years. Kali Yuga = 200 precessional months = 432,000 yrs Dvapara Yuga = 400 precessional months = 864,000 yrs Treta Yuga = 600 precessional months = 1,296,000 yrs Satya Yuga (also known as Krita Yuga) = 800 precessional months = 1,728,000 yrs. These dates for the 4 great ages of the Earth also match the Mayan dates as we see from this quote by the Scottish Anthropologist Donald Mackenzie in his book, Myths of Pre-Columbian America: "The Indian system gives the length of the 4 yugas as 4,320,000 yrs of mortals which equal 12,000 divine years... The important fact remains that the Greek, Celtic, Indian and Mexican doctrines are essentially the same and have evidently derived from a common source." Anyway, I could go on and on. The indian yuga-system is after the Krita yuga of our Chatur- or Mahayuga no more valid. According to Berossos (who used the Surya Siddhanta as one of his sources) the Treta yuga ended after only 432.000 years in the great flood which he dated at about 33.500 BC (though the backwards calculation of the movement of the constellation Orion leads to the date 36.500 BC). This flood ended simultaniously (!) the Treta yuga AND the Chakchusha Manvantara. After the Flood Manu Vaivasvata became the new Manu. Also another of the effects of the cause of the flood was that the constellation Orion was kicked out of the zodiac (of course in reality it is the earth which had changed it's movement) and began to move up and down in the course of precession. This movement of Orion is called "the three steps of Vishnu through the universe" in the Hindu scriptures. According to the Rigveda and the Mahabharata the Kali yuga will end, when Vishnu finished the last of his three steps. This will be the case about 2400 CE. So according to Berossos the Treta yuga ended about 33.500 BC (astronomically calculated on the basis of Vishnu's three steps 36.500 BC) and according to the Rigveda and Mahabharata the Kali yuga will end about 2400 CE. That means after the Treta yuga also the Dvapara yuga ended faster than expected and the Kali yuga also will end prematurely. All the calculations on the basis of the former yuga system are wrong. This system is obviously based on the length of a precessional cycle of the earth before the flood, which (according to the units of Saros = 3600 years, Neros = 600 years and Sossos = 60 years given by Berossos) lasted 43.200 years (12 * 3600) while a Mahayuga has a duration of 4.320.000 years (already in the Rigveda mentioned). This leads to a calendar of the time before the flood of 12 month of 30 days each (12 * 30 = 360), the months divided into half months of 3 weeks of 5 days (!) each (a day of precession = 1° of the Zodiac, according To Berossos = 2 Sossos = 120 years: 5 * 120 = 600 = a week of precession) and the days divided in day and night of 12 hours each (according to Berossos 2 Sossos of 60 years each). This is also the oldest calendar in the Rigveda (!) and the calendar on the sun gate of Tiahuanacu in south America. The precessional cycle of the earth lasts now only 25.920 years (astronomically 25.800 years) while according to Berossos it lasted 43.200 years before the flood at the end of the Treta yuga. This means it has increased it's speed. This change is depicted in the Hindu scriptures as the "churning of the milk ocean" which already B.G. Sidharth in his book Celestial Key To The Veda interpreted correct as a change in the rotation of the earth.

All the information in this video given by him is right but he mistaken at yug age in my opinion reverse the age of yugs he has given like make it as 5184 years for kalyug ,2592 is the age of dwapar yuga , 3888 is age of terta yug and lastly the age of satyug is 1296 years the years mentioned in our granths are of 432000 ,864000,129600 and 172800 years these are not years but days just divide it by 360 and u will come up with 1200,2400,3600,4800 addup them up u will get 12000 and the remaining years of 920 years are of sandhya kal between 2 yugs just divide it in the ratio of 4:3:2:1 Tulsidas ji also mention aboutin hanuman chalisa that the age of yug is 12000 years Jai jaggnath

Just a query - I think these are divine years. 1 divine year = 360 human years. So 2592 divine years would actually translate to 9 lakh (900k) human years. (Going by Sadhguru’s logic, Kalyuga would have ended during 6th century BC and no major upheaval happened that time apart from the birth of Budhha and Mahavira)
