If you never watered her in any episode she will die of dehydration. If you watered her for two episodes then she will die of drowning. If you watered her for only one episode then she will live. LiS fans usually interpret Lisa's survival because of Max's intervention or non-intervention as a microcosmic metaphor for the game and especially the fate of Kate, Chloe, and Arcadia Bay. And many LiS fans (We used to call ourselves LiSbians) often pair Max's houseplant Lisa with Kate's pet bunny Alice in fanart and fanfiction.

I'm so glad they brought Max back. The first game and Before The Storm are some of my favorite games ever made, but I never cared for either of the sequels. It isn't Life Is Strange to me if Max and/or Chloe aren't there. I'm very excited for this game. I will say though that Max's voice doesn't fit here. It fit her as a 17 year old where she's still growing but she should sound different now. Less gravelly and more grown up and clear. It's very jarring and I can't take it seriously.

My thoughts on this gameplay. I honestly love the expansion that they’re doing, adding this addition to her previous power, and making it a real realistic development. I actually liked that they did it like that. It would have felt cheap if they added a third option where you can save everyone but you had to make very specific choices. One of the main points of the game was balancing outcomes and trying to choose the best option. There was finality to it, and it made the game so much more emotional where you died inside and kicked yourself no matter what you chose at the end.
