Kassu The Killer I chose Sacrifice Chloe because all throughout the game, Chloe was focused on Rachel and self centered and was only fine when you sided with her and had issues if you didn't. Sacrificing Arcadia Bay means killing Warren and Chloe's mom, even Kate if you saved her, so would you rather have 1 person who's died multiple times in multiple timelines or kill an entire town just so you can be with this one person.

I chose to sacrifice Chloe as well because let's face it Chloe would probably die AGAIN in a few hours anyway and do you really want to spend the rest of your life bringing her back to life over and over again

Lol I sacrificed arcadia bay for 2 reasons, 1 I figured the amount of times I had saved chloe didn't make sense for me to just let her die. and 2 I didn't really like anyone in the town.

The difference between letting Frank die and sacrificing the Bay is that the former has no real benefit while the latter does... The only possible reasons for letting Frank (and Pompidou) stay dead are that Max is too lazy to rewind and explore a few more dialogue options, or she just thinks it's better if he's out of the way. I'm not sure which is more creepy. It's weird too that Chloe doesn't beg Max to rewind like she does if she shoots herself in the junkyard, like she forgets Max has a rewind power temporarily for the sake of a choice the devs wanted to include.

So, there is the thing I don't understand about this whole situation. Since they came only for the list of customers, couldn't Max just grab that list after Chloe kills Frank, and then just rewind and do not even go up to him? They would've had the list without even talking to Frank.

It's one of the weird inconsistencies in the game, in some instances like the hammer and the fire alarm you keep it after the rewind so you'd think it'd work. But in this case if you kill him and grab the note then rewind, it's back in his pocket again :/

This scene happened to me when I encountered Frank the final time. I had to rewind because I wanted Frank to live. It took a few tries for me to finally get the information without anyone getting hurt. To me, that’s the best choice to go with. Frank also sends you a friendly text.

Wait, what happens if Frank still has Chloe's gun and Max stopped Warren from beating up Nathan so Nathan keeps his gun? (Or tell Chloe to get rid of the gun?) Chloe would have no weapon and Frank could shoot Chloe when we told Frank to close the door so Pompidu can't run out. Or Chloe could do the same like in the knife scene and fight for the gun which ends in shooting Frank in the leg.

What Frank did here was wrong, but if you play your cards right you see a good side to him. Plus in Before the Storm Frank is the homie no matter what. He literally risked his life for Chloe and Rachel, and killed his best friend in order to do so. Not did that mind f*** him, it was extremely dangerous and in return Chloe steals all his money. I wouldn't be attacking anybody but I'd still be pissed.

The game teaches, that Frank is the horse to bet on, not Chloe. If you make the right choices it is really easy to side with Frank. For us it was easy, because: My husband and I didn't like Chloe ;) When she played with guns, beer and her "friend" who she treats like a toy on that junkyard we were like "Oh dear.. THAT is NOT going to end well..." When Frank came we didn't pull the trigger, because... we don't pull a trigger while aiming on a person. We where QUITE happy when Frank took that gun and just left. When searching his trailer the gun can be found there and the player (Max) is given the choice "Give it back to Chloe" and "Just leave it there." We still thought: "NO gun for THAT brat." and left it there. If you do that and Chloe doesn't have the gun, Frank keeps it and even has it on him when you come to talk, but he never uses it. If Frank has the gun instead of Chloe, you can piss him off (by admitting that YOU let his dog out on that parking lot where bad things could have happened to him but mostly because Chloe is so Chloe). Then you have to rewind and the only possibility to go through this scene is the way where NO one gets hurt. Frank never pulls the gun on Max or Chloe. And after you talked with him, calm and without attacking him.. he does not just give you that book you want, he also returns that gun to Chloe and NEVER mentions again that Chloe owes him money. That makes it PRETTY easy to me to "Side with Frank"... he wants the gun because Chloe owes him more money than he can expect from a teenager.. He wants that gun because it could be worth some money but not to aim it on people or dogs to shoot them..

To be honest after that scene happening I was kinda mad at Max, even though yes he was threatening her right after when they were in chloe's room she was more focused on that dumb board then her own hurting friend, she could have easily rewinded if she saw how hurt chloe was getting and as if chloe needs anymore trauma in her life. . . What a heartless monster, telling Chloe to just hurry her ass up and get over murdering Frank and his poor dog (whom Frank had freaking rescued from a dog-fighting ring, by the way)... Pretty much telling Chloe to just shut up, get over it, and help her search Frank's corpse before it had even had a chance to cool. All while having it completely within her power to save both Frank and Pompidou, immediately. What a monster...👹 *And I'm sure my comment/opinion on this will seem too strong or judgemental to some of my fellow LIS fans who read this, but Frank became my favorite character by the end of the series; no one else even came close. He really came to hold a very special place in my heart* 😊💕

+Chifurardium If you didn't injure Pompidou, then the dog will attack Chloe the first time and you're forced to rewind, after that you can tell Frank to close his door so Pompidou can't get out. If Frank tries to shoot you then Chloe will run for Franks gun and fight him for it, and then ends up shooting Frank in the leg with the gun and takes her gun back. If Frank didn't get the gun but Chloe didn't bring it with her, then same thing will happen but with Frank's butterfly knife.
