Life is Strange: The Good Ending

Life is Strange Episode 1-5 Spoiler Warning!
Here's an alternate good ending to Life is Strange that I created using Source Filmmaker and clips from the game. This video is the reason I have been so preoccupied and busy lately.
I figured that a happy ending wasn't something anyone had seen much of in Life is Strange so I figured I'd make one myself.
Possible Pricefield, Marshfield, and Grahamfield included for viewing pleasure.

UPDATE: People have been whining and calling this fake. If you actually are whining about something fanmade being "fake", then not only am I questioning your literacy and your sanity, I also think you're an idiot. Everyone else, you're cool. Love you guys.
My Explanation for this Ending:
As shown in 2 canon alternate timelines in the game, Nathan is arrested (but only because Jefferson tells on him after being arrested). Assuming that David can present the facts that he's gathered through private surveillance, and have the police confiscate the gun, Nathan will at least be held at the police station for questioning. When asked he will likely reveal Jefferson and his father's neglect (since he isn't exactly strong minded) which will completely destroy both Jefferson's and the Prescotts' reputation, and probably cause an immediate investigation. If the chain of events leading up to the storm is stopped on the first day (which I believe the Prescotts are involved in, due to constant hints about pan estates destroying the environment, and the projected moon at the party) then the storm will be stopped. It isn't a canon explanation, but it makes sense with the facts presented, and then again this isn't a canon ending.

jennifer obazee hdf Joyce, Frank, Warren, and Pompidou were at the 2 whales diner. Which may or may not have blown up. If you pick the save chloe ending it's still standing perfectly intact with zero scorch marks, so that means the tornado didn't move it either and they most likely survived. The tornado hardly even did that much damage to the town considering its size so alot of people may have survived

I'm sorry to say but living in delusions or self denial is no answer. The (original) endings were kind of spot on making the point that what ever values you choose, or path you take, your actions will have consequences that you have no control over, and that life rarely gives one only black & white alternatives.

Probably because this ending doesn't really have any moral significance or difficult choice to be made as the finale, and the story was intended as a tragedy, i'd assume. If I had worked on the game, I personally would not have put something like this in, i just did this for closure, fun, and for the fans :)

it's not, the creators of this game already said more than once it was in the player's mind whether chloe x max would have been friends or something more. It was up to the player, so both ships are real, depending on the story you created while you were playing the game basically :) in my story, chloe and max were the thing in yours, max and warren doesn't make yours or my story any less real

Gamergod 909 /Skye/ Kate is supposedly really close friends with Max, but we never actually get to know her, and we know probably the least about her compared to most of the other side characters. All we really know, is that she gets bullied from the start of the game, and she kills herself. I can't remember if you can save her, but even if you could, Chloe's and Max's relationship towers over all the other characters combined. Idk why, but it just feels like every character we meet throughout the whole game, is just a filler for the story, and Chloe is the only important one.

The perfect final is Nathan realising that Jefferson has been using him and telling the police about the Dark Room, he would go to jail anyways but maybe less time and he would get help about the illness he's going through and, the best part, he maybe gets better and Blackwell students would go amd see him. I know my English is bad, I'm sorry, but I wanted to say this bc I think Nathan Prescott is an overrated character and some people don't understand that he can be a bad person but those behaviours are caused by the horrible familiar situation he is suffering and the Mark manipulating him.

i have a idea for a fanmade sequel for life is strange! The protagonist: Andrew Amber, the younger brother of rachel amber. this is the story before rachel died in the eyes of andrew. the 12 year old just finished 6th grade and is out for the summer. however, rachel gets in a car accident when she is picking andrew up. andrew holds out his hand, just like max does, and boom. a couple of minutes in the past. andrew says in his head "what the hell just happened? Rachel... is this before she died?" andrew asks his teacher if he can go call his sister and he says yes. he says to rachel "rachel... i dont feel good. can you pick me up early?" rachel says "on my way little bro!" and rachel calls the school and takes andrew home. this is all i have so far. hope you enjoyed!

Completely agreed, Thiago. I think the official endings made the game what it is, and if I were a developer, I would not include this ending of mine either. I think it should’ve been a 3rd. More hard ending to achieve. I saw in another comment for the conditions. 1. Help Alyssa. 2. Make sure frank is alive. 3. Save everyone in the storm on the way to the two whales. 4. Make sure to rewind minimally, and only use it in an emergency. (As in when your Screen goes grey or you get stuck.) Boom. Now a 3rd choice appears. 1. Sacrifice Chloe. 2. Sacrifice Arcadia Bay. 3. Save everyone.

Whilst I would love this ending to be possible, the game does establish that the storm is due to chaos theory. The theory itself states "something as simple as the flutter of a butterfly could cause a typhoon" or something along those lines. Nevertheless, your ending is really well made! Congratulations :)

the wording of chaos theory is much different than the commonly know Butterfly Effect idea. the scientific principle of chaos theory doesn't rely on the butterfly or storm examples, it just states that from any action, there is a reaction, and in large scale time periods, insignificant changes can lead to greater consequences. so in a sense, the explanation provided in the description is still chaos theory, as it's one small even effecting the larger event. thanks for watching btw :)

Max doesnt even make a move on warren in this video. Id say sleeping in someone's bed, kissing them, changing time to prevent them from dying, hugging them, and obviously fawning over them its a pretty clear sign of attraction

The shot probably ruptured some vital organs in her, (not her heart, but the stomach, intestines, etc.) and would’ve caused severe internal bleeding, most likely killing her in less than a minute.

In EP5 Chloe is dead and yet the tornado is causing havoc while Max is driving to Warren to get the picture back. The tornado is caused by Max using her powers, not Chloe being dead or alive

Adrian Bigboss My point is, she saved Chloe yes by using her powers. She rewind to trigger the alarm. MAX POWER'S are causing the tornado. That's why in the alternate universe the tornado doesn't hit, Chloe's live was saved but Max didn't use her powers in that universe.

So this could never happen. Because of time travel she was able to stop Chloe from dying in the first place. because she stopped her death the entire cycle was set in motion leading to the tornado. Doing it like this would just make her be stuck in time again. This ending really is for people that want a perfect happy ending even tho it does not make sense. Never mess with what was supposed to happen in the first place

I have to admit, awesome work there. I guess it's the ending a lot of people would have love to have. Chloe is still alive, max is super happy and everything is great. Well .. yea. In my oppinion it's just not the truth. Life is Strange is about a decision, the most important one in the whole game. Chloe or the town ? This ending includes both it's still nicely done like i said but ... It's not what the game has taught me though. Still liked for the awesome work, keep going !

Near the end, you have the option to kiss Warren. If you don't kiss Warren and sacrifice Chloe, then Max and Chloe kiss. If you do choose to kiss Warren and sacrifice Chloe, Max and Chloe WON'T kiss.

You did a fantastic job and I really enjoyed the video, the ending, and the work you put into it. As far as being the nit-picky fan... Chloe's death is the basis of all that is happening. Her death, essentially, is a fixed point in time. Her death results in the unraveling of the rope that binds the secrets of Jefferson and company. If Max pulls the fire alarm, she's still affected Chloe's death. The result, the same destructive storm.

Thats making the assumption that chloe's death is the turning point. The way i rationalize this is by making nathan's arrest be the turning point. Because if you think about it, the only time the storm is stopped is if nathan is arrested on the first day, before jefferson is arrested. Chloe dies in ep4 but the storm still comes. When jefferson is arrested before nathan in an alternate rewind timeline, the storm still comes. I find both explanations to be valid. But of course thats just my opinion, i know ths doesnt follow standard interpretations of the game.

The trouble with any franchise using any type of time travel mechanic is that it always leads to confusion. She did use her powers, but that's all in a different universe, once Max is back in the bathroom that is the beginning. Of everything, the game, the story, because she jumped to a point before she used her powers. If she knows all the right answers already, there's no point in her using her powers to mess up this timeline. See, Life is Strange's time travel mechanic is, well, strange, because when Max raises her hand, she has a chance to reverse time in her own universe and change whatever she needed to change, meaning she adds a branch to the timeline of her current universe instead of drifting to a different one altogether. However, when she enters a photograph, she can temporarily walk in an alternate universe with subtle differences, in which she is allowed to make major changes needed in order to fulfill her goal. Once she's done what's needed to be done, she returns to her time, but in the different universe. Bottom line, Max technically hasn't used her powers in this universe yet, so there's no way the storm manifests.
