I was led here after reading Dani’s article on PEP about her issues with her dad. Dani, am just a year younger to your parents. I clearly remember the day it broke out in the news that your mom had conceived you. I also remember your parents dating before you came along...and your dad dancing on TV on Vanilla Ice music which was a big hit at that time...we all admired what a cool dude he was. I remember watching an episode of MMK with yr parents starring in it, right after her pregnancy with you was announced. Of course, as an outside spectator, i dont have a say, as I dont know what the real issues were..but I hope you take consolation from the fact that, your parents were indeed very, very young when they had you so they may have had failings as young parents, but that your mom fought for and kept you despite the onslaught of media attention. I hope that alone would heal some of yr childhood hurts, as it was clear your parents were very much in love. Best of all, you grew up to be the frank, strong, all-natural and outspoken person that you are despite the hurts, and you ended up a great wife and mom.
