When I was teaching third grade in public school a few decades ago, I had a new student who was deaf. She had a full-time interpreter who spent a few minutes each day teaching us all sign language. I was amazed at how quickly the entire class picked it up and before we knew it, they had taught signs to a good share of the other kids in the grade level. It was quite a year and we all learned so much!

Oh my heart, Blake you are such a wonderful son. Thanks to our teachers, the parents who *truly do* love their children, to everyone who shows a child they are loved-because we kids know when we’re not.

5:05 this made my heart melt this is the first time in a long time, I’ve seen people being “kind” to someone whom is different from them, that felt truly “GENUINE” I am so happy and proud of those other children around her, I wish I had a loving community like she has. That’s just wonderful. ♥️

The businessman who gave the scholarships is amazing! What a change he will make in so many lives. Especially by paying for the parents as well.

As much as I despise major news networks, any story done by Steve Hartman draws me right in and hits my emotions. Love this type of human-to-human journalism.
