True thinking is a painful process of self reflection. Hence it’s the hardest work, hated by most men. When thinking is easy you’ve avoided the pain by thinking it’s more important to act. Then your actions are severely misinformed and destined to fail, resulting in more easy thinking, repeating failure. The hardest work is to dismiss your own thinking abandoning it realising you need another pathway. We can all persuade ourselves that we’re right in our thinking. To persuade ourselves of being wrong is hard. We hate such insight.
