Who ( or what ) is narrating this. I noticed that several words were mis-pronounced and a full-stop seems to be just a brief pause. Example, when describing ASIMO "function as a assistant". Sad.

I bought a robot vacuum cleaner. It was terrible. Took more maintenance than just sweeping. These robots will be a pain in the ass. JUNK. These things are machines that will break down ALL THE TIME. Always need battery chargers or plugs. I don't see them doing much of anything to help people than a lift couldn't manage. People are needed here.

Even Aibo could recognize faces 20 years ago. Aibo was discontinued by Sony but resurrected a few years ago. It will set you back $2800 for a robot dog that really can’t do anything practical for you. It’s an entertainment robot you will probably tire of in a few weeks. But Sony will have your money. I like Aibo but not that much.

Nice work of art, but still does not quite look like a human. But I have no doubt, robots will someday soon be used as human actor replacements in horror films, used to rob banks, and any number of novel attempts at mimicry and deception. Every other technological advance has been used for purposes other than the designers intended, and robots will be no exception.
