How did an affluent city dweller live in the cities of the Gupta period? This video tries to answer this question. Through analysing a chapter of Kamasutra, we discuss the life patter of a Nagaraka.

Kamasutra covers a lot more except "Kamalila" . But since the British didn't want everyone to know all the details they translated and spread only the parts which talks about "Kamalila" and how a man should court a woman . And since most Indians were sceptical about "Kama" they straight away avoided "Kamasutra" . Hence the image of the book just stayed the same. Only during the modern age when India became more open towards acceptance of "Kama" That we are getting awestruck by this knowledge. 😅😂😂

Sir i have a question Why people belive horses were brought by Aryans in India between 1900 to 1500 Bc even when paintings of horses and chariots are found in bhimbetka caves which are over 20,000 years old and predates every civilization in history Isn't this another evidence that Aryans were Indians why people still belive in the Aryan invasion theory and belive Aryans brought Horses in India? please make a video on it

Based on the way Jay vardhan is explaining it, nagarka probably means uppers middle class, nobility and feudal lords probably were referred to as saamantha

The original indica is lost All of the sources we got are from other historians who wrote about things mentioned in indica in his book A lot of things in that aren't mentioned. He might be mentioned in the lost part

Sir there was no such thing like caste system in ancient bharat. Jaati and varna are totally seperate concept than caste. So please use bharatiya words rather than colonial words imposed by British on us.

Guptas were not related to brahminical system. They couldnt read gupta script. They didnt evdn knew harsha era script Britishers decoded the script in 18th century. In which language, script kalidasa wrotr. 😂😂
