Buddha promised his brother 100 virgins to convert. THis term Bramhinical is an invention of communist and Western historians. THis term didn't exit 100 years earlier. Even Buddism was no separate religion just 100 -200 years earlier. It's simply written as Dhamma. Grow up. I read Dhamma texts each morning. I am a great fan of it. But I am not a fan of Buddha. Buddha was a self-obsessed thief and manipulator. There is a high amount of overglorification of Buddh if you read the texts. Whoever wrote the Tripitaka the content is good, and I use it, though it's all stolen from pre-Buddha texts (mainly Jainism). Was Budha Aryan? Why do all Buddhist texts glorify arya? Is this word hardly used in the main Sanatan text? As per Buddhist texts, Buddha was a proud narcissistic Kshatriya. Buddha was a small time king in Nepal. He wanted some importance in mainland Bharat. He was related to Nath Sampradaya which originated in Nepal. He wore Tilak, Janeu , and Kundal. He had moustaches as per the earliest available records. He used to influence big Kshtriyas and ask them to build viharas for him. The concept of Vihara is originally found in Jainism which is thousands of year older than Buddha. Was Budha a mool niwasi or came from outside of India? By the way no one is mool niwasi as per science. What will change if we switch back to Pali? Why don't you speak in Pali if you love it so much? Or is it just to show someone down or show your superiority? I love Pali and Sanskrit both and all other languages. What about other Indian languages? Are they all inferior? Why not Urdu vs. Pali, which is better? Whether Pali a corrupted version of Sanskrit or Sanskrit a refined version of Pali, no doubt that they are closely related. Now if neo Buddhsts-Ambedkarites claim that Sanskrit is a European language than Pali being the mother of Sanskrit also originates from Europe by the same logic

1. If Buddha knew 64 scripts, then why was Brahmi in particular chosen as the name of the script? It could have been the other 62 (Kharosthi being one of the 64). 2. If "lipi" does not mean script in the case of Dhamma Lipi in Ashoka's incriptions, then how can it mean script in another Buddhist text?

About your first question. I've mentioned it in the video, that the name appears in a Chinese Buddhist text also. The fact that in this Chinese text it is also written how these two scripts were written makes these two names more plausible as the name of real scripts. About the second question, Lalitavistara is a later text and it is written in Sanskrit. By this time the meaning of the term was closer to the meaning which we now associate with.

Sir you should know that prakrit worked as a local language while Sanskrit was a langauge widely using on religious occasions like chanting hymns and doing rituals and we don't have Sanskrit inscriptions doesn't mean that this language didn't existed during Mauryan period . We have Vedas and other Sanskrit texts like upnishads which dates back way before chandragupta maurya and ashoka or even Gautam Buddha . The oldest known veda according to most of the historians is rig veda which is estimated to be complied between 1500-1800 BC ( At minimum you can consider 1500 BC as the correct date of rig veda ) . Vedas and Sanskrit hymns were orally transmitted from one generation to another because in the early Vedic period a primary writing system or script wasn't developed but later scripts like brahmi and Kharosti started to get emerged .

The junagadh inscription of rudradaman which is written around 1st - 2nd central AD and hathibada ghosundi inscription which is the oldest Sanskrit inscription we have ever found and archaeologists have calculated it's date to be around 2nd-3rd century bc ( The same time period of Ashokan rock edicts ) .

The script is dhammalipi not because only it appeared into numerous ashoksn inscriptions. Ashokan inscriptions are also in armeric and greek script. But in case of dhammalipi, it is believed to be originated into India unlike kharoshti, greek and armeric script. Furthermore, one of best opinion is the script is initially extensively used for Ashoka dhamma edicts only. No king before ashoka used dhammlipi or edict tradition.

Yes, both Dhrama and Dhamma are the same. Where ever the Brahmi inscriptions uses Dhamma, the Kharoshthi inscriptions uses Dhrama. For example, instead of Dhamma Mahamattas, the Kharoshthi inscription mention Dhramma Mahamatra.

The Ashokan "lipi" was indianised version of achaemenid persian word called "dipi" which basically means rescript moreover lalitvistar is a sanskrit text not a prakit one, remember Ashokan edicts were in prakrit and he showed what lipi meant in Prakrit

If you know little bit about Buddhism! Their was first buddhasbuddhasangati happened in which the leader of sangha denied the existence of other buddhisht schools like mahayan! After the birth of Christ long time after the death of buddha around 400 years later in second buddhisht council mahayana school get approved in buddhism by the leader of council! And after that the lalitvistara comes in existence, all happened after the hundreds of year later after the deathbof buddha!
