Andhras were mentioned in Mahabharata. Satavahanas called themselves Andhras. Looks like the gentleman who posted the video is a Marati trying to ignoire the eastern part of the Satavahana empire.

I suppose they are not to be called tribes. They were all different political powers representing certain geographical boundaries or kingdoms. The king Bharata was the son of shakuntala or the grandson of vishwamitra. His name also didn't represent a tribe instead this country was named after him

Thank you so much for the rich information you have given. I like your narratives. Is there any connection between Sishupala of Mahabharata/Bhagavata as he was addressed as Chedi naresh and Kharavela. Incidentally there is a city called Sishupalgarh in Odisha all requiring to look for a common factor

The oldest mention of the Tamil Confederacy gets it's mention from Hathigumpa Inscription The Tamira Confederacy: The Mauryas, ruled Kalinga before Kharavela, and they find mention in Tamil Sangam literature which talks of the parasols, banners and chariots of the Mauryas; Mauryas cutting paths in mountains for their chariots to pass; Refers Mauryas as strangers (vamba moriyar) who came with a desire to conquer the South. So, these are proofs of Mauryan military ambitions in Tamil Regions. But there are no records of a Mauryan conquest of the Tamil region. Maybe, because of the Mauryan threat, the Tamil kings banded together, and their unity acted as a deterrent. This is the confederacy that Kharavela perhaps broke, roughly around 173 or 172 BCE. If the confederacy was 113 years old at that time, then it must have come into existence around 285 or 286 BCE, which would be the time of the Mauryan ruler Bindusara, the father of Emperor Asoka.

Jats defeated Hunas. Why do you always hide them in all your videos ? It is well accepted that Jarta means Jat, hence Jartas who defeated Hunas were Guptas and Trijarta/Trigarta kingdom which Panini called Ayudhjivs were Jats.

Can you please make episodes about the historicity of rama, ramayana and Mahabharata? Was a king or a tribal warrior the inspiration for ramayana? And how historically accurate are the characters and the events of it and the origins? Also, please talk about the 'battle of the ten kings' mentioned in the rigveda

I really would like a video from you contrasting the military capabilities in the form of 2nd rung leaders of Western armies and Indian armies. One of the glaring contrasts that I find after reading world history is that in Western armies, credit and mention of many generals are made, who could win wars independently. For example, Alexander's wars easily mention about 30 generals including their children, who he could send out simultaneously in different directions on separate battles. This resulted in Alexander himself leading battle in only NINE instances and winning all of them. Similarly, the Romans, even during the Republican times, they had several famous generals and they had a bench strength to conduct simultaneous battles in different directions against different enemies. Take for example, Marius & Sulla & Julius Caesar's civil war followed by Augustus & Agrippina and many more. I don't find any such famous generals in Indian accounts. It only returns in Indian history AFTER the Islamic invasions with the most famous being Khilji's 3 generals & Malik Kafur.

sir, is it possible to arrange all your videos on a dynasty or empire in a chronological order?. Being short videos, the to & fro nature of the order of your videos tend to create a lot of confusion in the chronology of events and hence, have an independent view of the motivations of the players.

Guptas were Jats from Mathura-Punjab region. By inscriptions and literary sources, Guptas are clearly mentioned as Jats. It's only Indian academia who has jealousy against Jats otherwise scholars worldwide recognise this.
