you can connect oculus airlink to a pc so you could get better graphics and bigger catalog of games. Rec room may look shit, but if you play an older rec room build like rr2017 its better.

I keep hearing people talk about how crisp the display is on the Quest 2 but honestly it's kind of pixelated on Quest 2 when you're playing on rec room

Nah ur high I play pcvr and quest 2 as well and the quest 2 is not pixelated at all the res is nearly 4k

The biggest difference i noticed was that there's real time shadows instead of shadows refreshing every minute, also there's normal maps so textures have depth. Also like you said the physics is way better and it fun to fling the guns after you die and also fun to see how confused people get when you take out the streamer cam. And yes also the watch feels so much better and is more responsive. I wish I had my own computer but i tried pcvr by bringing my headset to my cousin's house and using his computer

When i first got my valve index for pc you already know what i did for the first time. I did the following: -Test out the water physics -Admired the High-res shadows -Play with the streaming cam - walked around with joysticks - Made fun of psvr players (i know this is kinda rude but it was two years ago) - And dodgeball was so much easier without pointing your hand What did you do when you first got your PCVR?

I used the quest for a very short period. That was a step down after my HTC vive broke. So pretty much my entirety of Vr has been on PCVR except for a month or so before I got a link cable

I like the fact that when you use pcvr instead of just quest is when you hit an enemy with your sword(at least for me) you can feel the hit like through your sword like even the tip of it so it feels like your actually hitting with a sword and it's just amazing
