I really like the music but a little commentary or notation would have been nice to know what was going on!

would have been much better without the annoying music - and perhaps some kind of notation or commentary, explaining each step in the process. Just a suggestion.

+Augustas Juodis Why ? It's easy, because the US is in cases of electricy/powerlines/transformers/power delivery a third country with a very low level of technical standards. Germany has used the last wooden poles in the late sixties/early seventies. That is over 40 years ago. In every storm the wooden poles brakes, or in case of shortcuts they burn, your cheap china made transformers explodes, or heates up, and make noises like an egg boiler. Trees in the direct neighbourhood are falling onto the powerlines, instead of cutting the trees down. The powerlines in USA are in a pitiable state, all over the country, in an ailing state. I'm really shocked when I see their crappy wiring. Why that ? Because US guys rather buys their damned guns, instead of keeping the delivery of electricity in a good working condition. They don't develop their powerlines/distributions, so the technology is outdated. Quick and cheap, that's the way, they do it. That are the facts dude.

Yes Sir, that's right. We have also concrete made poles, and they last now more than 40 years (20KV Line). Concrete is a good material for those purposes.

+Michael Achenbach Wooden poles are more eco-friendly and cheaper. Comparing durability, a well treated concrete pole lasts about 45-50 years while a well treated wooden pole lasts about 40-45 years. That little difference of 5 years is not worth destroying the environment for.

Use wooden electric poles. Let's drop some dollars in a farmers pocket. Nothing can outlast wood. Avoid using steel and concrete.

1. Get rid of the music and narrate this video. 2. At about 8:00... the lineman appears to be breaking about every OSHA rule there is. If somebody turns this video in... the company he works for will be fined using this video as evidence.
