I think u guys should bring in some guest pilots for the podcast... n let them tell about their struggle ... the constraints they faced before living their dream in the cockpit.

Finally pilot podcast is back! Such a thrilling incident of turbulence.. Despite extreme bad weather, severe tailwinds & crosswinds the way Capt Neha foresaw all the hurdles & showed enormous patience to hold on fr 40 mins & finally landed safely & securely at CCU without any harm to the passengers & the aircraft shows her deep calmness, presence of mind, superior technical expertise in flying skills & bold leadership qualities. It's definitely an honour fr all the CNTAA students to hv a super mentor like her.. Indeed their career is in safe hands! ✈️

Sir/mam I'm currently studying in 10 th standard and after 3 years I'm planning to join a cadet pilot program , I want to ask that after many years will pilot be a good career option as the technology is advancing and automated pilot be a thing , and my another question is that is it a must thing to buy the pilot medical insurance you talked about the last episode which cost about 75k in the starting of pilot career.

I am seeking private pilot license in USA and further chasing to get commercial license. After about 250 hours, and CPL, I plan to head back to India to work for Indian airlines. Will I get a job and how many hours are required to get a job with Indian airline? Current age at level zero of pilot journey is 32.

With FAA CPL, If you do have 100 hrs PIC solo. Out of which 50 hrs are 100 + Nm cross country & 5 night hours, One PIC solo 250 Nm cross country with first destination 100 Nm + Yes, you’ll have met DGCA requirement. Age 32 is a little late for India but if you finish it within next 12 months, there are airlines that recruit CPL holders until the age of 35. 37 for type rated. Make your decision accordingly. After coming to India, you’ll need to give DGCA Papers AIR NAVIGATION, METEOROLOGY AIR REGULATIONS. Do conversion flying & pass RTR exams. If you decide to do this, you can join CNTAA for the DGCA exams preparation. Good luck ✨

@@PilotPodcast I absolutely look forward to joining CNTAA as I get close to getting my CPL in USA. 12-months to CPL is tough while working a full time job but will look into it - this feedback is priceless for me. Thank you for taking time to respond- sincerely appreciate it. I feel like I am making huge investment in coming months and concerned airlines job might be an impossible dream- but I am going to do everything at my best capacity. If CNTAA has additional services for NRI in my situation - I would love to enroll for it. Love the podcasts! 🫡✈️
