Are you a vegan? if you are, then - well done, and you deserve only respect. But if you are not, then your comment is just some kind of cognitive dissonance - if you eat meat, and you live in a city, from where do you think this meat comes? from farms. Did you ever visit a farm, to see how they treat animals there? that is the real "horrific" way of treating animals. Here, in this video, we can see the animals have acces outside, they can move, smell the snow, run, live a life, maybe not a very good one, maybe not a perfect and free life, but at least they can walk on the ground, and breath the outside air.
