I have this Matlock episode on dvd and absolutely fell in love with the song. I have searched for it on a record but have had no luck finding it. It truly is sadd that such an incredible voice is still not performing. I was lucky enough to grow up when he was topping the charts! A wonderful talent.

I'm here because I'm a huge Randy Travis fan and I have not heard this one until I saw Matlock . Randy Travis is by far my favorite singer of all time. His voice has always resonated with me. Storms of life.

Was doing my a.m. workout and watching "Matlock" at the same time.😏 Froze when I heard this song ... then flopped onto the couch and broke down crying. Wow! (And I knew Matlock was gonna come back to the front of the porch when he heard it.🙂)

Yep. It's hard to think of a better voice than Randy's even though there are lots of good country singers out there. But the old days surely were the best!!!

Miss people who wrote and sang original and different things from what we hear today. Trends are the death of music. We need more of this, and Waylon, Merle, George,. Singers that you had no idea what they were coming out with next...

I'm old enough to remember when Randy started out. I knew the first time I heard him, he had an unique voice. I watched him become one of the greatest country music stars. And unfortunately for all of us and for Randy, I watched his slow demise from the top to the bottom, because of his drinking. Strong drink has destroyed so many of the best.
@bonnieikamas1201 Жыл бұрын
His family’s medical history was actually a lot to blame…😢

Randy quit drinking many years before the 2013 stroke that took his voice. With God's help he quit the booze and is now the real man he was created to be.
