As someone who grew up in the 2000s with the best prehistoric life docs of the time like Walking with dinosaurs, prehistoric park, and walking with beasts, and as someone who is now putting in the work to become a paleontologist, this makes me so happy. The story of life on earth is over three billion years in the making and is such a fascinating story. I cannot wait for this!

This series is nothing new, its based on very old and outdated facts. Do yourself a favor if you are watching this, research their facts before you believe em. Like the rippling water, its actually impossible. '93 Jurassic Park has more actual facts in its trailer than this docu trailer and thats 1993!!😂😂

Don’t get excited about the Cenozoic. We also know there are several glaring issues with some of the Pleistocene segments. It’s really just the Paleozoic segments that stand out.

@@Morrison-saber-tooth That breathing room and in-depth exploration really helped sell the late cretaceous as a real world that actually existed. I'd argue it's one of Prehistoric Planets greatest strengths. Not that every show should follow that, I'd love to see more unique formats.

I just finished episode 5 (of 8) and this show is actually disappointing. I thought this show was going to focus on the prehistoric life from beginning of time to modern day. Instead, it focusing more on current day life than prehistoric. Episode 5 was suppose to be about dinosaurs but instead, the episode is 70% about modern day insects and 30% about dinosaurs. And that’s how every episode has been so far. Honestly, if you have access to Prehistoric Planet, go watch that instead.

I feel this one is more hollywoodified than PP at least judging by the trailer and the dinosaurs don’t seem to be quite as realistic as Prehistoric Planets (I mean they are decent but not quite up to Prehistoric Planet standards imo)
