Hey Tom, Listening to the Dec 10, 2024 piano music during this comment. Lots going on in the thought process after watching a few of your desert van life videos tonight. Looking forward to your country album. The kind of tragic irony in being so ... nuclear? energetic? untamed? ... with your creativity (ie., the rapping) ... is how the world insists on pigeon-holing other people just for the convenience of being able to process what they see and hear. Burn bright against the dying of the light, sir. Some of us out here need your example.

Keep onions and garlic -- powdered, raw, cooked, or dehydrated -- away from your dog. They can kill their red blood cells, causing anemia. That's even the onion powder in some baby food. Eating a lot just once can cause poisoning. Look for signs like weakness, vomiting, and breathing problems.

As a fellow Gen X'er, I totally get this. Everyday when my alarm goes off at 6am so I can go to the job I've been at for 14 years, I think about just saying "fuck it" and hitting the road. The America we grew up in still exists, but you have to leave the cities and turn off the news to find it. Social media creates a false sense of uniting us, but it's actually dividing us more than ever before. Clearly that's the reason so many "Van Life" videos are trending these days. The pioneering spirit still exists in our DNA. I will soon go get lost in America myself......

Yes a lot of the real America is still here yet a lot of it is gone . People who used to do road trips in America back in the 50s and 60s will tell you that not every town looks like every other town out there ... the country was not infested with as many chain stores and restaurants and coffee shops and retail shops back then . I can't remember where it was I heard Bob Dylan talking about how great road trips were back then but nowadays pretty much how all the towns in America pretty much all look alike .

You probably already know this but he was signed as a teenager and then around 91 had a fair sized Juno award nominated hit with his rap group Organized Rhyme "Check The O.R." all before he started the Tom Green show in Canada in 94. But check out the video clip of the time he he had Xzibit on his internet talk show in the 2000's and the surprise look of shock on his face when Tom starts flowing. Tom sounded amazing, sounding very much like Beastie Boy. It was pretty impressive.
